This blade worked OK, but no better than the $1 to $1.50 no-name blades I buy in bulk on Amazon. I did a demo and remodel job that involved cutting patches of old drywall out and cutting outlet boxes for new framed and sheetrocked interior walls. I used a single, no-name wood-cut blade for most of the work. The generic blade worked very well, but I saw this Diablo blade at the local hardware store and thought it might be worth a try. I bought this blade for $18.99 and thought the curved shape might help me feel more comfortable plunge-cutting holes for electric boxes. I like to make precise cuts and always look for ways to improve my results.This blade did not help in any way. The standard-shaped wood cutter blades work just as well and cost much less. I feel foolish for wasting the extra money, so I am writing this review in case the information helps anyone who can't afford to chalk the waste up to a learning experience.The old blade shown in the photo with the broken-off teeth, which only cost $1.36, had already served on several projects but still worked every bit as well as the new expensive Diablo blade on the sheetrock drywall I was working on.Thank you.

This Oscillating Blade for Drywall is amazing. No more cutting with a cutter knife or hand held saw. It is seamless effort to cut through the drywall.

Used this for building a wall and this blade was used more times than I can count to trim or shape pieces of drywall. Once I got a feel for it I was able to make cuts quickly and efficiently.

I managed to cut two 3"x3" holes in drywall and this blade has dulled to the point of being unusable. You would think diablo, being known for their blades and longevity, would last at least a handful of cuts. Unfortunately I'd avoid this blade for drywall work.

I like them but they need to be By-metal because you will always hit hidden drywall nails or screws that will mess up the teeth. Not saying I want to cut the nails or screws but my hope is they will survive hitting said nails and screws better if the teeth were harder.
