This is a truly stunning piece, beautifully crafted and executed. It’s one of the few things that actually looks better in person than it does online. While it will accent any decor, if you have a stainless forward kitchen like mine, it really is a stunner!Unfortunately, as other reviews have mentioned, this item ships with an outer wrapper advertising the product contained within and that wrapper is affixed with old school cellophane tape… in six different places. And that tape has likely deteriorated while the product sat in a warehouse waiting to be purchased and so, when it arrives in your home, it is nearly impossible to remove. If you’re careful, the tape residue can be removed with Goo Gone®, but you’ll have to sacrifice a fingernail or three to get the bits of paper and cello tape off the unit. And you might scratch the unit while doing so. Then you’ll have to get the Goo Gone® off the unit and wipe it down with a wet cloth, so there are no streaks and no residue or smell from the Goo Gone®. The whole thing will take you 45 minutes and, honestly, you will never get it as perfect as it was when it first arrived, albeit with that ugly residue and tape fragments in six key places.And the whole thing is unnecessary… the ad that is affixed is meant for retail sale… to convince people to buy the product while in the store. Online purchasers have already bought the product! No need to advertise. Just put the thing in a protective bag and ship! Or if you want to still attach the paper wrapper, do so in such a way that it attaches to itself in the back. Or spend three cents extra to use tape that is easily removable!It might seem odd to spend most of this review talking about disappointing packaging. But it shows tremendous disdain and disrespect for customers… and the product... to ship it in this manner. The product itself is stunning and will likely exceed your expectations. But to not realize that people are buying this for its beauty (in addition to its functionality) means the company has no clue. And to ask us to spend 45 minutes to remove unnecessary packaging and tape residue is bad form. It makes what should be a joyous “unboxing” experience a tedious chore. So, if you want a really lovely adjustable stainless three-tier shelf, this could well be it! Just be prepared to waste the better part of an hour correcting the mistake the manufacturer made in shipping.

No wobble spice rack! Purchased this rack to replace a wire rack that drove me crazy. It expands smoothly and filled the space perfectly. The spot where the two sections transition has hardly a bump. Stainless steel had no scratches or defects. Blends in perfectly with the surroundings due to it's reflective surface. Some people complained of adhesive, mine had this too, there was some very strong tape in three small spots. I used goof-off to remove it, no problem! I'd purchase again

Every once a while you'll run into products that uses scotch tape for packaging, and it's always a pain in the ass to remove them. This is one of them, tape front and back. Just imaging having to remove tape residue while touching the stainless steel surface, while leaving fingerprints and scratch marks during the process.

This is great expandable shelf for storing spices, or other pantry items. It's stable, there's no wobble, and the length is adjustable thanks to the expandable design. It's true that the packaging could be better to avoid the sticky tape adhering to the stainless steel, which is a bit annoying to remove (baking soda will help remove the sticky glue) . Although when the shelf is in use you don't really notice those details anyway.

as advertised and they work like a charm on my open stainless shelves in my kitchen. they display all my spices and make it so much easier to see. I used one on the counter top and one on the shelves. I just love them!

For what this is it works very well and is of a pretty high build quality. I ended up getting 2 of these for all my spices. I spent a lot of time making spice jar labels and this product makes the whole thing look a lot better. If you put a row of jars in front of the rack (see picture) it is not super visible but it is the little details that count. I don't think my cabinet would look so nice with a cheap plastic version of this. There is a slight height difference on each side of this due to the sliding nature of the mechanism but looks fine once loaded up.
