Ordered this product which states it’s a 4 pack and received one bottle. Ordered a replacement and was sent the same thing, just one bottle instead of the 4 pack so returned to get a refund. Extremely disappointed

My expectation was I would receive 4 canisters. There are pictures of it boxed as 4. Product description talks of them in plural (e.g. each of them……). The listed “item weight” is appropriate for 4 canisters. Listed price per ounce 8.73 oz net wt * 4 = 34.92 oz. Today’s price of $29.86 / 34.92 oz = $0.86 per oz, close to the listed $0.93 per oz. And then in the reviews, some reviewers say they got 4 canisters, however others also say they got just 1.Perhaps it’s just random on how many you get and in some cases it’s not as advertised (i.e. 4).My single canister arrived in a large box all by itself and the metal was bent up from rolling around.I returned the item and had another shipped. The second shipment arrived with just a single canister also. I wasn’t allowed to return it so I used it.It burns fine.

The biggest attraction in these is the flame itself, although it can only really be seen at night or in the early morning before sunrise -- essentially, in the dark. The red flame doesn't really show up much at all during the daytime. But it sets a really nice ambiance in the evenings or early mornings!I can't really smell the citronella in these, and they don't do much in the way of repelling mosquitoes or anything. So again, it's more about ambiance.I would take the "up to three hours" on the burn time to mean somewhere between two and three hours. We do have one that still has some fuel left in it, but the wick won't relight. So, we're going to have to work on that in order to use the rest of it up.All in all, I like this very much for the ambiance. But, since we typically use a fire pit for that purpose and use our torches more for repellent, I doubt we'd be the target market for these. But, in situations where a torch is what's available, this would be a fun resource for evenings.

Keeps Mosquitos away. Good citronella fragrance. Great for when it's too windy to put tiki torches out.

Nice product if you want something a little less bright to keep bugs away, or if you just like the color red and want to see it in the form of torch flames for ambience. I like it!

I got this fuel for outside parties. We live in Florida and the mosquitos are outrageous. The citronella helped to keep them away. It seems to last a good amount of time and the red is super neat.

What can I say, I like a good fire?! :)These light easily on the first usage, although I've had some challenges with re-lighting.In the dark, the different color is a nice stand out.I would say that you are not going to get much citronella for mosquito repelling, so if the bugs are thick you'll want some traditional torches as well.

This ready to use bamboo torch fuel was perfect. The flame is green and looks great at night. The citronella scent is also pretty strong and it helps keep mosquitos away. I had trouble trying to figure out how to open it, so instructions below.HOW TO OPEN: My best method is using a spoon to pop off the small metal cap. You need to get under the lip of the small water bottle cap shaped piece of metal. Once the cap is off the first time, it is a lot easier to put out the flames with it and take off the cap in the future.
