My first use was to smooth out some drainage holes I've put in vases converted to planters but I wish I'd had this when I added a dedicated R/O faucet to my ceramic sink! Would have saved me so many headaches.

This year I'm doing my pavement and I get the driveway larger. I requested the city to cut the borders, and they did a quick job, leaving the border cut with a straight edge, and the face rough (which was fixed with another diamond disc). The straight edge will surely get damaged by the snow removal equipment. When I saw this bit, it looked perfect for the job, and it is.The abrasion is good, it runs smoothly and is not too intense, allowing to make a smooth, even finish on the border. The diamond coating is good, I'm pretty happy with the job. The bit fit on my grinders, just be aware that while most grinders uses 5/8 thread, some uses different thread size.

I have other Focstol bits and am impressed with their build and endurance. This bit did not disappoint!I did a test with the bit and it worked wonderfully without any undue force using my drill with a 5/8 adapter. In terms of durability I expect it will do well like my other Focstol bits but excessive force will reduce its durability. I will do an edit if I discover unexpected wearing.The value of the bit is that you actually get 2 different sizes if you need to shape a hole of 3/8 inch or 1 inch .

This does exactly what it shows in the description and it did work well for me without any chip out. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that many of these come with a screw in adapter to allow you to use it with a drill instead of having to go grab the grinder and pull the blade of to use it and at this price I would expect it.
