Durable!This sharpener is made of all metal, which is completely different from the plastic ones. After using it 5 times, the grinding wheel can hardly be seen to have any wear.

I have not used the product yet. Build quality looks good. I gave 3 stars for what looks to be a quality tool; Unfortunately it took very long (weeks not days) for delivery. Ordered 3/20/25 arrived second week of April.

I have had one from a big box store, one that has a bright orange logo, for years. It has a plastic handle and has always given me issues when I try to sharpen the mower blades. The issue with the plastic is that it bends, and if you don't hold it juuuuust right, you'll get plastic bits taken off, and then have to readjust the whole process so not to break it. This thing is full metal. It has not bent or chipped or broken. It is super easy to use, and it works really well at giving the metal blades a good edge.
