I absolutely love these! They are light weight and do a fantastic job of protecting my shins and knees. I am a slow pitch pitcher and need protection. I had an older pair, but the fit was not good for me, and the knee pads were constantly an issue, wo I had cut them off. Then got hit in the knees multiple times! These are longer for us tall folks, plus the way they are designed the knee portion great and are not as bulky. It also has detachable pads for the top of the foot for umpires.
