The threads on the aligator clips are too small, they won't tighten to the wires.

Save yourself the hassle and spend a few more dollars and get something better. This is one of, if not the most, poorly assembled electronic item I've ever purchased. Further, it came broken. If you can't see from the picture look at the left side. The red wire and the thick red piece are supposed to be connected. One end of the thick red piece is supposed to be connected to the red wire, the other end has female threads the attachments in this kit screw into to connect. Meaning the wire and attachments are useless.

They are not the best but they work. They are very basic leads with minimal quality. Not for perfectional applications but perfect for hobbies. The price is good enough to add some to your toolbox.Continuity response isn't that good these are made more for bypassing or connecting
