This tool belt is a great invention. It doesn't weigh down on the waist and dig into him like a belt does. It has many pockets and is very user friendly!

This was my first pair of this style. The product seems good - well built, looks like it'll hold up. Reinforced stitching where you'd expect more pressure/load points to be. I haven't seen any signs of wear/defect that would make me feel like it wasn't worth the cost. The bags are held in place with velcro, seems sturdy. We'll see how it holds up... not as free floating as the leather systems, but they have their trade offs. My only gripe with the bags/organisation of the items is that the slot where you'd likely put your speed square, it seems a bit small. I'm sure there's a work around for this, I just haven't found it yet.The belt is sized accordingly; I'd probably buy a size smaller if I'm somewhere closer to the lower end of the range for what the manufacturer lists. However, everything was adjustable, and I don't think I'm going to be cinching everything down to the tightest possible notches anyways. But having it a bit more "loose" I can't tuck the strap through the loop, so I probably did buy a bit bigger than I should. I'll see how it all holds up when I wear my full gear though as I tend to wear a back brace as well to help, which is why I bought a little bigger to allow for the extra back support. Interestingly, as I've mainly worn this set up in the cooler months, with a sweater/jacket on, so despite being a size 30-32 waist, I'm often using the second-last or last belt loop holes on the webbing. The velcro portion of the double belt is a nice touch though. No complaints so far though! The suspenders were similar - I'm tall(er), 6'1" with average to slender build, and I feel where the padding lands is not quite right, so I also shortened the shoulder straps and fed the adjustment buckles back through the padding to sit above where they initially sat.I get the sense that this product was geared towards a thicker build, or perhaps , would be better suited for a colder season set up where you'd likely be wearing a sweater or two, maybe even your jacket with this on top.

Holds everything perfectly! If it had a chest strap with a clip and a bigger pocket for a smart phone it would be even better! No complaints! Great bags!

Very comfortable, all the features and pockets are excellent, as is the build quality so far. It’s almost perfect…I’m an average size guy, 6’ tall 170 lbs. I cannot seem to get this thing small enough to properly fit. I don’t know how someone shorter than me would fit. Maybe every carpenter/framer is a barrel-chested behemoth? I know it has to accommodate a wide range of sizes, but it seems like the smallest it was meant for was someone like 6’2”, 190 lbs. I’ll keep seeing where I can tighten it up, but I’m definitely running out of things to try.

I recently started a new job and had my eye on this tool belt for two reasons. It was under $100 and it already came with shoulder harness. This is the reason I’m only giving 3 stars because the shoulders straps do not work very well. The pocket on the shoulder strap barely fits my tiny lather man tool. Definitely too tiny for any smart phone from this decade. The tool belt itself is suffice enough with large pockets to carry everything in my needs. I install solar on roofs to be more elaborate. At this price it’s not that good of a deal for just an ok enough tool belt. Also the rear buckle attachments in the rear are not removable. This is a major issue considering that the buckles are only made of plastic therefore when they break the shoulder straps are totally out of equation for good. Not that they are very useful to start with. They fall off your shoulders every time you bend down to work on something. A simple sternum strap or chest strap as some call it would of helped here. I rigged my own one up with old string line. That kinda helped but still wasn’t the most comfortable fit. Best way I found to wear it was by crisscrossing the straps in the front before buckling them. Again still not the most comfortable but possibly tolerable for most people. You could probably build your own dickies belt for less if your not worried about the shoulder harness. For me that’s what I was most excited about. Hope this helps other people considering this purchase.

The bags stay on with velcro so if you have any sort of weight in them they fall off, also the belt says it fits 32 inch waist when it doesnt even come close to 40 inch. That's false advertisement. No buckle for the front straps which is a horrible design choice..and the straps dont adjust very high. I'm surprised they are still legally allowed to sell this item

CONS: This belt is NOT a 32" waist.I am 5'10", 165lbs, with a 32" waist. The belt and suspenders are cripplingly limited on adjustment. This is an XL-XXL work belt. The suspenders slip, so they are just in the way, supporting nothing. The belt has to be drastically adjusted to "fit" which means fishing the metal buckle back through loops, and having the comfort-pads doubled up almost all the way around my waist.I have to go without the Velcro, as you cannot slip the pads past each-other otherwise. If you are not a +35" waist, this belt will take a ton of adjusting to manage through out the day.PROS: The canvas is good, the price is low, and the pockets are well planned offering lots of space.

Great pouch set. I've worn it for 8+ hours a day for a couple weeks and have no complaints. I have a 36" waist and the belt fits perfectly and securely. Plus, it matches my pants (style is very important when framing houses in 10 degree weather.).
