I appreciate traditional bathing suit bottoms, but I always find them a bit uncomfortable and prefer to keep a little more coverage. That’s why I was excited to try out swim shorts! It can be tricky to find a pair that doesn’t look too frumpy, but I’m happy to say these are a good find!They have a snug bike short underneath and a looser short on top, which is quite comfy. The elastic waistband is really nice and stretchy. Just a heads up, if you’re on the shorter side, they might be a tad long, but for me, being taller, the length is perfect. Plus, they dry really quickly, which is definitely a bonus!One little thing I wish they had is lighter color options since black can get pretty warm at the beach. Overall, they’ve held up great during my spring vacation, and I’d say these get two thumbs up from me!

Good quality build, the material is quite shiny, and shorts are fully lined. I like the zipper pockets to hold items securely. These are meant as swim shorts, but they could be worn as non-swimwear as well, which is good versatility. Unfortunately they don’t hang right on my body. Sizing is true to size and the size is right, but while it fits my waist, it’s baggy in the crotch area - not flattering at all.

So far I really like these "difficort Womens Swim Shorts with Compression Liner 4'' Quick-Dry Board Shorts with Zipper Pockets" and here's why.I like the length and I like the comfortable fit. I also like the combination of elastic and drawstring which makes the fit a little more forgivable. The color is nice, it's a dark gray with a blue tint to it. Both zippers for both pockets work well and the fabric is nice and soft. There are pockets on each outer side of the compression liner that are large enough to hold a cell phone. It pulls down on the shorts a little bit when you put a cell phone in there, but with the use of the drawstring, the shorts did not slide down. They feel cool and comfortable for loungewear and exercise.I'm 5'3" and weigh 137 lb. My waist is 35" and my hips are 42". I ordered XL based on the sizing chart the manufacturer provided. They fit a little loose, but I would rather have them a little loose than too tight, but that's just my style. Concerning sizing, after looking at other reviews, it seems the sizing opinions are all over the place. I guess it also depends on how tight a fit you want. As another reviewer pointed out, the compression liner does not really compress, and I agree, and that's fine with me. I didn't want something that fit too tightly. See how they fit me in the photos above.Be advised that you will not be able to wear these swim shorts at some water parks/waterslides because they have zippers.I went swimming with them in the pool yesterday and they worked fine. They dried overnight. I did not notice any fading, so at this point the dye seems colorfast. If that changes, I will update my review later.These shorts seem to be versatile - they are good for going for a walk and then jumping in the pool without the need to change clothes. Because of the built-in compression shorts, which are really more like a swim liner because they do not compress, you can wear them with or without underwear. When traveling, they can serve multiple purposes as swimwear, outerwear, and sleepwear, and with this nice neutral color, they'll go with most tops and t-shirts. Give them a try.

I’m petite, 5’2” 108, and this is a small and it fits great! It’s hard for me to find swim shorts that aren’t too long for me and these are 4”. I’m older so I don’t want too short either! I also have had abdominal surgery and this covers the scar but around the belly button. It’s our own pool so I typically don’t care but I’ve gone on vacations where I do care, so this option is great!The inner board shorts are nice but for me, I wish the bottom was a bit tighter on me. It’s probably an inch total off my legs. It’s not swim season yet so I’ll have to update later on how they are in the pool. If they had an XS, I might have tried that but overall this fits perfect in other aspects.They are comfortable and well made. The pocket zippers work great and the pockets are a great size! Certainly big enough for a large phone and keys, etc.It has a drawstring but good elastic. I didn’t have to alter the drawstring from how it arrived. Arrives in a bag, typical but protected. Nicely folded.The care instructions say cold wash, no bleach, no iron, no dry clean. It does not mention drying. I have swim suit cleaner so I’ll do by hand and hang to dry but they should not drying instructions on the tag. I may wash in machine with other pool things and a color sheet.Happy with this!

I am 5'5" and 200 lbs. I wear at size 14 in jeans/pants and typically a Large in casual/athletic shorts (sometimes a XL). I ordered these in the XL in the fit was perfect.These swim shorts are so comfortable. They have a liner in them which makes them a full swim short, so if they get blown up by the wind or surf, you don't have to worry about your cheeks showing or other private parts.They have zippered pockets, which are a necessity to hold your valuables or other things you don't want to lose.And they fit really well. I just had a different pair of swim shorts I tried and between the two, these are my preferred pair.Currently the surprised at $19.99 which I think is a decent price for them.
