These are really convenient because they are so small, I use them to have students make their lunch choice on my board. The only thing is the magnets come out somewhat easy, but it’s nothing hot glue won’t fix. They also hold up papers really well for being so small

The listing for this item did not make the size of the magnets very clear, these were a lot smaller than I expected them to be. These are about the size of a nickel or dime

I was thrilled with the unusually low price on these magnets and loved their small size and how nice the colors looked when they arrived. I tested their magnetism, and saw that although it was weak (one magnet can hold 1 index card or 1 smaller piece of thin paper), they still met my needs, so I happily lined them up on my relatively new white fridge, and threw away the packaging. If only I had thought to test the cleanliness and marking of the backs of the magnets on paper first......When I gently picked the first magnet up off of the fridge to use it, I saw that it left behind a large black mark on the refrigerator.....(Note that I am an adult and I was gently putting the magnets on the fridge and picking them back up - NOT dragging them across the fridge or handling them at all roughly!)On further inspection, I discovered that EVERY magnet I had placed on the fridge left behind a substantial black smear/ mark when I removed it. I tried scrubbing the marks off the fridge, and about 80% of the black markings did come off, but NOT all of it. From what I can tell, it looks like even after cleaning, every one of these magnets left subtle but permanent black scratches in the refrigerator's surface finish, just from having contact!Since I threw away the packaging, I cannot return them, but frankly, the permanent black marks on my new white fridge is my main grievance (even though they are fairly subtle after scrubbing), not the $4 purchase price of the magnets.Going forward, I will be rubbing any magnets I buy on a piece of white paper BEFORE I let them touch my fridge to see whether or not they leave marks. Just wish I had thought of that sooner!
