A basic digital protractor/inclinometer that gives you a fast, easy to read digital reading. Setup is a snap, easy to use and it's ready in no time. I wouldn't consider this a precision scientific instrument, but at $13 it fits the price point. The integrated magnet is strong enough to hold it in place at any angle as long as the surface is magnetic of course. The plastic build quality is okay. Not the strongest material, but more than adequate for normal household use.It requires three AAA batteries (not included) and comes with one of the smallest screwdrivers you'll ever use to open the battery compartment door. My biggest gripe is the protective case is soft and provides no protection from accidentally pressing the power button. You don't want this just setting in your tool box with a bunch of loose tools or you may inadvertently press the power button and drain the batteries.

I recently picked up this digital angle finder, and I have to say—it’s a game-changer! Right out of the box, I was impressed by its compact and portable design. It’s small enough to fit in my pocket yet solidly built. The accuracy seems to be pretty spot on for the one I got—with a precision of ±0.1°, I can trust it for precision table saw or angle cutting and measuring. Whether I’m setting up saw blade angles or checking car alignment, it delivers consistent and reliable measurements. The magnetic base is a fantastic feature, allowing me to attach it to metal surfaces hands-free, which makes the job much easier.Another great feature is its multi-functionality. It works as a protractor, inclinometer, and level all in one. The absolute and relative measurement conversion is super useful, and I love that I can lock data for reference. Plus, the display is clear and easy to read.Overall, this digital angle gauge is an excellent addition to my toolbox. It’s accurate, easy to use, and versatile—highly recommended for anyone who needs precise angle measurements!

This is my second such device, and this is not my favorite. To start with, the original instructions are SO tiny they could not be read. However, the manufacturer listened to users and included an "enlarged" sheet - they are still tiny but can now be read ...with a magnifying glass. They also include a mini screw drive and a case, which makes using it so much easier. But they did not bother including any AAA batteries to get you started. The readout displays to two decimal points. That may be too many - it jumps around a lot at the slightest horizontal wiggle (which does make sense if the surface is not absolutely level). And I have yet to get measurements taken off a machinists square to add up to 90deg. It's not hard to switch between relative and absolute mode (just press the power/ref button) , but mine appears to be so sensitive, that it does not like to go to "0" unless I am pushing down on the device. If I simply set it on a surface, it does a lot of waffling, and at best, tends to vacillate between 0.00, 0.01, and 0.02.That said, for my purposes, I can ignore the last digit.

Nice bright display, shows absolute level, and can be set to show relative angle, small size with tailored carry pouch. Bottom face is magnetic. Does not stand freely at 45 degrees as shown in photos. Requires two AAA batteries that are not included. A handy little item for the handy.

This gadget works as stated. I found it was easy to figure out the buttons. The instructions could use larger font but that's my only complaint. It makes it really easy to know existing roof pitch and rail inclines. Very handy. The screen is large and easy to read.
