Wanted a scale for a while as my son is a baker and needed a new one; unfortunately, this scale does not provide accurate results. It does show a results of weight but it is always wrong. We have tried turning it on and off then it will provide a different weight. It was a waste of money. I hope if you do purchase one it works better for you. Hopefully mine was a one off.

The cup measurements are supposed to be black or red not clear. I ordered 2 one for myself and the other for my daughter in law. So miss leading. Not able to see it. How do the reviews with photos show differently?

I have not used this measuring cup yet I bought it because I know I’m going to need it in the future, the fact that it’s actually in a cup so I could measure and weigh at the same time. It’s just very convenient for me. What an innovative idea.

I honestly got this thing to measure out hydro fluid for fork oil. It zero's so I can use any container, honestly. Many modes of measurement, and its' so sensitive it even told me the weight of a single dried pepper lol. This thing is useful in the kitchen AND in the garage.

I usually spoon the flour into a measuring cup and level it off, but while making homemade bread in a machine this wasn't working as well because I was still getting too much flour for the recipe which made my bread dense. I read that you need to weigh your ingredients for best results. I bought this beauty because it was reasonably priced and would fit my needs. Baked my first loaf of bread using the cup to weigh my ingredients and what a difference it made. The only con I can think of is that my old eyes struggled to see the G for grams in the right corner so that could be a little bigger.

Saves me from getting out a bigger scale. I can use this and the cup detaches so I save on dishes as I use the cup to eat or serve from. I bought this for making sure while I strive to eat healthy foods I also stay within portion sizes. Eyeballing a portion is not always easy to do. I like this scale/cup and use it daily.
