There are 5 settings for cool to warm illumination. This requires a dimmer switch because this is really bright on the brightest setting. On the "cooler" settings I was not happy with the overall amount of light in the room. I installed this over the kitchen table where sometimes I want a brighter light, but often I just need a softer light. The fixture attaches to the ceiling with "keyhole" on screws, which makes it an easy job. The cover / diffuser shade of this fixture is a medium weight plastic, and on close inspection looks quite nice, a bit higher quality in appearance than others I have seen. You can only change the type of light (warm/ bright white etc) inside the fixture, that is attached to the ceiling, which for me, means a ladder to adjust and I would like this better if I did not have to remove the fixture to change the light setting. The other thing that could be a problem in the long run is that there are no bulbs in this fixture and while this is an LED that should last a really long time, once the light burns out, I do not think there is a way to replace the LED part in the middle. At time of review this fixture is $25 CAD which for light fixtures is a bargain, but if it burns out quickly it will be quite the opposite of that. The white light on the white ceiling makes the room look really different than the old chandelier style fixture and I find it visually appealing and modern.Product reviewed: DLLT LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light, 12 Inch 1 Pack White Surface Mount Light Fixture, 6000K Daylight 24W Round Mount Light Fixture for Bedroom Kitchen

I was looking to replace an old low-light living-room ceiling fixture, and I am extremely happy to have noticed this slim profile, flush mount, 12-inch-diameter, 0.67-inch-thick plastic, 100%-5% step-less dimmable, 2400 lumens, 24W, sealed LED Light ( see front and back photos ) with its’ clean modern lines, and selectable colour temperature. The colour temperature switch ( located within he back of the housing ), while not not readily accessible ( and must be set pre-installation ), offers a highly desirable choice from 2700k warm yellowish, 3000K warm light, 4000K natural light, 5000K white light, or 6000K bright white light ( I found the 6000K setting too bright, and decided upon 4000K ).The Light is compatible with most junction boxes, following the instructions ( see photo ), and using the supplied quick-connect style wire-nuts... I quickly and easily, DIY installed the Light in my living-room ceiling and I am extremely happy with the very-bright resultsIt is definitely comforting to note that device underside is marked CSA Certified, and also with ‘c-ETL’ (signified by the ‘C’ at the eight o’clock position outside the ETL logo), a recognized certification mark indicating the device is approved to Canadian standards ( see photo ) by Intertech Testing Services.

High lumen light that will make any room shine.LED light is truly slim making it ALMOST like a pot light. The LEDs shine bright and have several warmth settings so you can toggle over to your desired setting when setting up the light to match your desired ambience.Installation of the light was fair given how slim the connector caps were and how short the default wiring was.-I had to use my own connector caps to 'splice' the housing light fixture wires and the LED wires due to the housing wire size-The default wire length were too short for me so I had to strip insulation off the wire to elongate the positives and negatives. The mounting bracket fit onto the light fixture with ease.Overall a decent light.

Extremely compact ceiling mount light. Adjustments are available on the back for color temperature from warm (tungsten color) up to bright white. The light can also be used with standard dimmer switches making it useful in areas of the home that require more flexible lighting like dining, living rooms or bedrooms.Good price and easy install on a standard electrical junction box.It comes with plastic wire nuts. I find it easier to use the lever style wire connectors since they make it much more secure to connect stranded wire to the solid house wiring. If you have white ceilings, these lights are very unobtrusive when off - plus the clearance they allow is a real benefit in crowded areas.

The design of this is quite good the light output is better than I expected it's nicely dimmable and with a very thin profile this fit extremely well in as a replacement for an old fixture in a stairwell where if you are anything over about 5 foot 2 you would be smashing your head off of the light that was originally there needless to say that had to be king because no my mother was the only one I could think of that would actually fit there without Bang Your Head and even with this thin light there I still have to watch my head but most of the vast majority people will fit through there but it's a lot better clearance now that said good value for the money longevity we shall see and I would put these in multiple different locations you know by getting them again I'm going to say that without hesitationStep Into His Radio done yet again delayed through the circumstance Beyond My Control being done the voice to text now which is far from perfect errors will be fixed eventually in theory but right now not so because it fixed name is actually literally a pain

Went to turn on the light and it no longer works. Its shorted out a bit under six months of having it and not even using it daily 🙃Update: after talking to a rep they agreed to send me a replacement unit even though its passed the time period for which I’m incredibly grateful for. While the original unit was defective the customer service is fantastic! Will order more items from this seller for their outstanding service!

I bought the 24w, 1 ft diameter variation, which is ~2400 lumens. I installed it in a small closet, replacing a 3 ft. fluorescent. Installation was easy, but check your local electrical codes. The fluorescent that I removed had its own metal enclosure in which the wire connections were made, so no electrical box necessary. But for this one, I had to install an electrical box in the ceiling. The wires on this light are a bit flimsy, especially the yellow (not green?) ground wire. I used the special connector they supplied for the hot and neutral and I was able to wire nut the ground. Works well. Looks good. Pretty easy installation. Nice and bright.

As I had never installed an LED house light before, I didn't know exactly how much light they put out. This light is too bright for a small bathroom so it needs a dimmer switch. Dimmer switches for conventional lights won't work with LED lamps and the ones for LEDs are on the expensive side. This is not to detract in any way from the product which was easy to install but just too bright for us. Also, we decided to go with a different manufacturer as this light was a kind of harsh white and we wanted more of a warm daylight effect. It was fairly easy to install and looked nice, however, just too bright.

Closet refit/update: (24W LED Model, White/6000K version)Perfect replacement for the crappy old and dim incandescent light left by the previous owners:This LED light is really bright, almost like the sun (the 6000K spectrum version in theory delivers nearly pure white light). In closets this works exceptionally well, and the 24W version has the kind of coverage and firepower you need to actually see things clearly. It looks elegant and was super easy to install. This could also be used in any area needing a good light source, and perhaps could be combined with additional units, and perhaps you could change the spectrum to soften the light for living areas.Key advantages using LED lights is that these produce significantly less heat (hence notably safer for fire hazards), are highly cost effective to run compared with most other lighting types, and the profile width for these units is under 3 inches - Which is potentially important to ensure a regulation 6 inch distance to comply with some building codes (City of LA for example).Reading through the reviews, it seems some people get mixed up about the installation and over-complicate what is required for standard ceilings replacing existing light fittings. Hence I thought I'd outline how to do it, since the instructions while simple, may not be clear to less experienced DIYers, so hope this helps:Here's how I installed the LED light replacing an existing light fitting: (This is pretty easy to do, but needs the capability to drill etc)Firstly, this assumes you are replacing an existing light, and will connect to the existing wires - the unit which powers the LED light is included, and there are plenty of Youtube videos out there that show how to connect new lights to replace old ones. (Note: If this is a fresh install needing a light switch etc, then there are videos on this too, which is a much more involved process). There is a long "U" shaped bracket provided which requires two pilot holes to be drilled into the ceiling (the holes are on the longest central part). Decide where you want the light and mark target holes for drilling, THROUGH the holes in the long part of the bracket, on the ceiling (while holding the bracket in place where you want it). Note: the bracket has the two shorter "arms" that should be facing down for ceiling installations (or away from the wall so the light can be attached later).Drill two pilot holes using the marked targets, then use the two plastic anchors provided, pushing each of these THROUGH the holes in the long part of the bracket, into the pilot holes. Do NOT put the anchors in the pilot holes first (They have a ridge which holds the bracket in place)! You may need a rubber mallet to gently tap the anchors into place while holding the bracket in position. Make sure the anchors are fully in (except the ridge which sits flush with the bracket), then screw these into place. Once that's done you can connect both the wiring and the light cover to complete the fitting - this is screwed through small screw holes at the sides into the short arms of the bracket. (This can be fiddly, you probably need a step stool so you can align the light cover holes with the bracket holes at either end). Then switch on your new "sun lamp", lol, and sit back and enjoy the "sun" - this LED ROCKS!]

Very nice, bright light which comes on at full brightness instantly.Installation is easy, however additional anchors (included) must be placed in ceiling due to flimsy mounting bracket. Light fixture itself seems sturdy, but the mounting bracket is too flexible. Also, the LED "igniter" block is a bit too thick, and holds the fixture slightly away from the ceiling. I would have preferred a more flush fit. The re-usable tool-less splice block is a nice touch. Just pinch the spring-loaded lever on the top to open the splice block to insert or remove a wire from the terminal. (Not sure it would pass an "inspection" though)I like the fact that you can pre-thread the screws into the fixture body while on the ground, then use the slightly protruding screws to "find" the threaded hole in the mounting bracket to line it up for the final fit. Much preferred to trying to line up the fixture and install tiny screws while up on a ladder.I think the lack of a ground terminal might cause some trouble with ignorant building inspectors who can't understand that a metal bracket which is screwed to a grounded metal workbox is properly grounded. Although, if a plastic workbox (or no workbox) is used, there is no dedicated grounding terminal on the flimsy mounting bracket nor on the fixture body itself.
