I would say these plate sets are simple, clean, and just have a modern, classy vibe. They are very lightweight and perfect for daily meal setup. My house is in the Japanese minimalist style. They are the best match and a solid choice. Maybe a little texture or design could add some extra flair, but honestly, they look great as is already.

Tight and efficient packaging. One of the plates had a minor scratch, and one of the bowls had a small paint defect on the outside. The set can scratch easily if you’re not careful — I sliced a sandwich in half on a large plate with a serrated knife, and it left a permanent mark. That said, they look great overall and offer good value for the price so far...

One of the plates arrived chipped. There is also a weird texture on the outside of the bowls. It’s not smooth. I returned them.

12/27/24 I had brought this set as a little housewarming gift. when the package came to today I immediately wanted to see what they were like. Its a nice looking set that feels sturdy, their are microwave and dishwater safe. The black dishes will look in great her silver, white and black kitchen. These dishes are fit for frequent use. The price is very reasonable, and I'm comtemplating getting a set for another gift.

Somehow I didn't notice that this set is NOT CORELLE. I have a double set which is nearly identical and since we like it so much, I decided to get a third set for the RV. This set, though not identical, is close enough that if we used it with our Corelle sets, nobody would notice the difference. Every piece arrived in flawless condition. They are so nice to handle and they weigh less and stack smaller than other kinds of plates. Microwave safe, too. I wish serving bowls and pasta bowls would be available. I'd also love to see this same style in beautiful colors. For RV life, it wouldn't take many purchases of paper plates and bowls to equal or exceed the cost of this set.
