I love this design, it makes it easy to clip-on your gear. Especially when you have multiple tanks with you, it helps getting them clipped off faster and with less effort. When you have so much equipment on your body, that little extra convenience is super nice. I've only had a few tech dives with these so far but they were great. They look pretty sturdy so I don't anticipate any durability issues.

If you've done side mount, you've struggled with clipping on the tank on your off-hand side. This snap works great for that!

I like this kind of clip because of the smooth part where you pull down to open it. It does not get caught on your belt loop like others. I use it as a keychain holder.
