The Diode Dynamics 4th Brake Light Kit converts your factory reverse light to shine both bright white, and red. Not only do you get an upgraded backup light, you can also add a red running and brake light, for a unique, modern look on the road.
Red Running Light: The red light comes on at 50% brightness anytime you have your parking lights or headlights on, to serve as a rear fog lamp. This provides a distinct appearance at night, complementing the factory LED tail lights.
4th Brake Light: When you hit the brakes, the red light powers at full brightness, to serve as a supplementary brake light, for greater visibility and a unique look.
White Reverse Light: Anytime you're in reverse, the red shuts off completely, so your backup light can illuminate in a crisp, white color. There is no change to the factory reverse function, you just get an improved output from the white LED!

My car is a Mustang ecoboost 2023 the plug don’t have the hole for put the red wire so I drilled the plastic and work perfectly. The look is really good the car now have the reverse light brake and night light in the same place is expensive but I buy a open box and save a lot money thanks to Amazon warehouse.

Pros:It works great, install is so simple it took me 20 mins, you don't even need to jack your ride up. Just crawl underneath.Cons:In broad daylight you can tell its just a bulb (just a red dot)It lost one star because this product is overpriced for what it is get

I finally got all the connections made, but then discovered that the supplied bulb would NOT work. I rechecked to verify that the bulb was bad using another just plain LED bulb that bulb worked perfectly, so by process of elimination, made the determination that the bulb supplied with the wiring was faulty -- neither the backup nor the brake light function work. Unfortunately, I have searched high & low on Google, Amazon, & even Diode Dynamics websites & no one seems to carry a replacement bulb (you'd at least think a replacement could be obtained from the MANUFACTURER!).UPDATE 08/20/2018: Okay, I received a replacement bulb from Diode Dynamics today, & it was gratifying that my assessment of the situation was correct -- the original bulb was defective, but the replacement bulb works EXACTLY as expected/described. Thank you Diode Dynamics.
