The grates were too small for my Vermont casting grill and the burners and the drips pan were too big. I take responsibility for not measuring before hand. The “guards” over the burners fit perfectly though. Summary is that something’s to big, some to small and some fit perfectly.Gary Waldron

We have a Vermont Castings grill model VM456AP that has been neglected and left to the outside elements for many years. We were so impressed at how perfect these replacement parts fit the grill. It was totally painless to replace everything. The quality of the parts are also impressive. The panel inside the grill that the burners are screwed into was eaten away by rust, but the burners in this kit were oversized just enough to be able to wedge them sturdily into place without worrying about screws. I thought that was a brilliant design element! Our grill is working great now and we've squeezed at least a couple more years out of it. For the awesome price, you really can't beat it.

The replacement pieces are the perfect fit and incredibly sturdy. Easy enough to install. Saved us from having to buy a new grill. Definitely worth it!

According to the shipping outline the product left UPS in Warwick on THREE occasions but was not delivered until the fourth time... far too late for the needed items for a July fourth cook out. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. Coud not reach anyone at UPS or Amazon about the delays.

We have had our Vermont Castings grill for over 10 years and I didn't want to just trash it becouse the burners, heat plates and cooking grill were rusted out. Found the rebuild kit and in the matter of an hour I restored my grill to like new conditions. It could not have been simpler and now I am as happy with the grill as I was when I purchased it.

Did a gut rebuild of my Vermont Castings grill, including this kit as well as new flash tubes, piezo sparker and wires, gaskets and a drip pan. As others have noted the burners are a bit long and had to be bent down some more at the ends. Actually, it's not that they are too long but that the plate at the front end is welded a bit too far forward on the burner tube, limiting how far you can insert the burner into the front panel. But bending the ends a bit got them to fit. If the plates were welded another 1/4 inch towards the front they would seat a bit better on the gas supply tube.Also as others have noted the top cast iron coated grates are not as heavy/ thick as the originals, but I expected that, and they will work fine. The drip plates seem just as heavy as the originals and also fit perfectly for me. So along with the other parts ordered my grill is completely rebuilt on the inside. If the body holds up (it is rusted through in a few spots) it should be good for quite a while.I spent $250 for all parts, including $80 for the drip pan alone, but totally worth it, and much cheaper than a replacement and saves the hassle of disposal of old and assembly of a new one. Very satisfied.
