I don’t know how it broke, but it wasn’t fixable. We have to be careful pulling out the top rack or it will fall off the track along with the dishes in it. What a random part to have to find. So glad to find it on Amazon. Got it the very next day and it was an exact fit with one to spare. Hope I don’t need it.
