Had to replace the display on my F-150 when it quit working. It was a pain to get to it but definitely worth the time and effort. It's been 3 years now and it has been working perfectly, no complaints.

Defective. Didn't work. Reinstalled the OEM and was surprised it started working again. Traced root cause to bad solder joints on instrument cluster board. Resoldered bad joints then tried new one again and it still didn't work. Reinstalled OEM one and it's still working. Also noticed the diffuser on the back of this LCD would actually block out the backlighting which is unacceptable especially at night. Shop elsewhere for a replacement LCD (if needed) even if it costs more it's probably going to be worth it.

My Ford F-150 odometer& temperature display was dim a part of it didn't read at all. I purchased this part and replaced my display in about 30 minutes. perfect fit and easy fix $50 part and Ford would have replaced the whole instrument panel for $700--- $900

It fixed the display on the F150, but a similar display for a raspberry pi would have cost 75% less..Update: installed in November, died the following April.

LCD is exact same size as per original, Its a little difficult to install with one person.Had my wife hold the overlay up and out of the way, while i put in the LCD.I used a small smear of die electric grease on the pins. Its only been one day but works perfect so far.I am in Florida so the heat killed the last LCD.Picture is of the new one installed.I would buy it again.

Packaging was very protective of this delicate item. The installation was a PIA. You have to take the entire cluster out of the dashboard, take the clear lens off the cluster and peel back the black gauge backing. I was told by an electronics technician that I should use dielectric grease on the prongs when installing the new gauge. The prongs are very delicate, you MUST pay very close attention to the prongs when reseating this gauge. If you have any questions please feel free to hit me up.
