Wall mountable guitar display case. The surface is repeated sanded many times to achieve the fine smoothness. Felt interior background on the inside (BLACK color FELT) for an elegant display. Hinged, swing open, acrylic door provide easy access to put in our remove the guitar while keeping dust away. Holder for the guitar is installed on the inside of the display case. Metal brackets on the back of the display case made this cabinet wall mountable. Comes with built-in Lock. Overall, a very nice display case, I would recommend it. It looks great once it is up - but not that easy to install, thus the 4 rather than 5 stars.1. There are 5 hooks on the back, and you have to measure and install 5 brackets (2 screws each) on the wall and ensure they are aligned perfectly and level with the hooks on the back of the cabinet, a total pain. They should have used a single Z Bar or French Cleat, would have been 5 times easier.2. There are two bolts sticking out the back where the guitar hook is, these cut into the wall (removed sheetrock) and made placing the cabinet difficult - those should not be protruding from the back.3. I had to remove all the hooks on one side; you can hang it horizontal or vertical.4 they include some heavy-duty angle brackets, but there are no instructions on what to do with them. I used one on the bottom to hold up the cabinet as it is not that sturdy and I don't trust the hooks alone to support it and a guitar. I was able to get the bottom angle bracket in a stud (centered) and used my own 3.5" screws to mount it rather than the short ones provided.4. You cannot adjust where the guitar hook is located and my 42" guitar just barely fit (touching on the bottom of the cabinet).Hope this helps - recommend you just go buy a Z Bar (French Cleat) and use that to mount it. Would make it super easy.

After getting my dream guitar signed by my all time favorite singer I started my search for a display case! My acoustic guitar was personalized horizontally so it needed to be hung horizontally and this one does both directions. I was extraordinarily impressed by the packaging of this case!! Seriously it was packaged perfectly and protected 100% even with some outer box damage that happened during transit. The acrylic front had a protective covering which was great- no fingerprints! I also love the locking case so my kids won’t be tempted to touch it : ) This case is exactly what I was looking for and looked even better in person! Great item at a good price!

I purchased two of these for Hubby's Christmas gift. He is thrilled! They are nicely built, packaged very well, lots of fitted packing; glass is covered w/a heavier weight adhesive film to protect it. 2 'L' brackets were included for secure hanging. nice looking lock and hinges. I like the black background on these over the others I saw w/red. This case is large enough to just fit a Gretsch without it touching the bottom in a vertical position, of course the case came with a nice little black felt topped support for horizontal hanging. The shipping was fast, this box is LARGE; 4ft x2ft. x10 " again- Great Packing!

This arrived pristinely packaged and was exactly what I wanted; however, this particular case should've never left the factory. There is a finish defect (large shiny patches on an otherwise black matte finish) on the hinge side of the case. My autographed guitar needs to be on display before it gets damaged, so I am returning it today via Amazon Prime. I'm not happy to have to wait around for UPS pickup today, but I am grateful that I don't have to haul this to the UPS store! (It's big and cumbersome.) I re-ordered the case (same item number & company) hoping this one accidentally slipped past quality control.UPDATE: The replacement case arrived promptly and had ZERO DEFECTS. We have it hung vertically and it looks beautiful on the wall.
