I upgraded to a new monitor recently and I was getting screen tearing and stuttering while gaming with my prior cable, since it wasn't rated high enough for the Hz the monitor required. This cable fixed that completely and I don't notice any problems in games anymore. Cord I received is actually the length of a 6'6" cable, not the 6' in the description. I may have gotten lucky with that, but it came in handy for my setup. Connections look well made. Nice braiding on the cable. I've had for nearly 2 months and working great!

I tested this with multiple computers (Windows PC and Mac) and it worked flawlessly at 4K 240Hz without any blanking or other issues. This is a premium built cable with braided material and is quite thick

I have been using this on my computer for over a month now. I have replaced the computer, requiring me to unplug and plug the cable into another computer, which has had no issues with the connectors or otherwise. Everything has been running very well. The sound that comes through the cable has been fine, but I cannot really tell since the devices that are playing the sound are not able to reproduce sound very accurately. I do not move the cables very much although this month I have moved them more than I normally would.I would get this cable again since I have had good performance and overall good success with it. I have not detected anything that causes me to have any caution with the cable at this point, causing me to rethink purchasing it again. As a result of this mindset, I am giving this a full five stars.

The FEMORO DisplayPort 2.1 Cable is an impressive choice for gamers and professionals seeking top-tier performance. Straight out of the box, the 6-foot cable feels premium, with its sturdy construction and quality materials, like oxygen-free copper and braided shielding, ensuring reliable signal transmission. The standout feature is its support for ultra-high resolutions, up to 16K at 60Hz, and high refresh rates like 8K at 120Hz or 4K at 240Hz. Testing it with a high-performance gaming monitor delivered stunning visuals with smooth motion, thanks to Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM). These features minimize lag and tearing, making it ideal for gaming and demanding applications.Compatibility is another major plus. Whether you’re using an NVIDIA RTX 4090 or an AMD 7900, this cable seamlessly connects to multiple devices and supports FreeSync and G-Sync technologies for a flicker-free experience. Multi-Stream Transmission (MST) is a bonus for users looking to connect multiple monitors with ease. The only potential drawback is that most users won’t fully utilize its 16K capabilities just yet, as such displays are not widely available. However, its backward compatibility with DisplayPort 1.4 and 1.2 ensures versatility for current setups.Overall, this cable is perfect for gamers, creatives, and professionals who demand high resolution and smooth performance. It’s a future-proof investment with premium durability and a 24-month warranty to back it up, offering excellent value for its price.

I recently got a 75 inch Hisense U75K. It's the first TV I've owned that's good enough for a PC monitor since it has a 144hz refresh rate. But when plugging it into my Gigabyte Aorus Master 3080 TI with an HDMI cable, my main monitor which is a 43 inch Acer CG7 using displayport, would drop its refresh rate from its native 120hz to only 60hz after every PC restart. And windows wouldn't let me change it back. It doesn't even give the 120 option anymore in either windows or Nvidia settings. So I needed to see if my old displayport cable was the culprit. Like maybe I damaged it somehow getting the TV plugged in. But no it's some sort of setting issue with either windows, Acer, or Gigabyte. For me to get back that 120 option I have to change the input on the Acer with its remote to any other input, then put it back to the correct displayport input, or I have to physically unplug the displayport and plug it back in. After either it "magically" brings back the 120 option. I have to do this after every restart and literally hours upon hours of Googling hasn't found me a solution. So your guess is as good as mine on what the deal is.So although this cable didn't work out for my issue. It still works well. The build quality is nice. There's no issues like flashing or black screens or what not.

I got this cable thinking it was HDMI but found out it wasn't. After seeing it I was a bit disappointed because it's a super nice cable. Braided & shielded with quality connectors. To be honest I don't know what a display port cable is. It's a new cable for me, but with the ones I'm seeing they all have 4K, 8K, 16K etc. So I'm guessing it's for the newer digital stuff. So this is not in my wheelhouse. I guess I'm old, cause I don't even have 4K yet.
