Product arrived and (1) had no directions, although parts were marked A,B,C etc. Fortunately assembly was intuitive; (2) it's very wobbly and crooked even after tightening the rods as much as I dared; and (3) the packaging included two extra pieces that look like shoe holders (?) but are shown nowhere in the Amazon online catalogue picture.Almost every item I've purchased from Amazon until now has been satisfactory but I wouldn't have paid $10 for this product if I'd seen it assembled in a retail store. It sits in the corner of my office and I've hidden it behind the door. I'll use it until I can find a nice hat rack in a retail or antique store. I'll never buy anything else from Displays2Go.

I love the appearance. Unboxing can be messy so take your time to avoid getting styrofoam all over. Easy to assemble if you take your time when threading. Overall I love the hat rack. I do think the price is a bit higher than it should be but couldn't find another that had the look I wanted. I have no regrets about purchasing this item.

This is a beautiful, sturdy, easy-to-assemble HAT rack. I finally have a beautiful place to display all my hats so that they don’t get crushed. It is extremely sturdy and durable for hats. And, unlike all the other hat racks I looked at before buying this one, it is BEAUTIFUL. Although it’s made of solid metal and is quite heavy and solid, It’s not meant to display heavy coats. Each arm has the disk on the end to support the crown of a hat, which is much better for a hat than a plain hook. I say this because I read other reviews here that said it was not sturdy because it toppled over when they hung a coat on it. It’s a hat rack, not a coat rack.

If you’re looking for a coat rack, this is not what you want. It is not very heavy and coats will overwhelm it. It is for hats. People complained about wobble, but I found that by tightening each piece of the stem completely, the rack is very stable for its intended use, holding hats and scarves. You get two sets of hooks, one for hats and one for scarves. The only issue I had with assembly was that the top stem section has an insert for the addition of the finial which flared the top enough to make adding the last tier of hooks a bit of a chore, but not impossible. Footprint is small, which is great. Each row of hooks spins independently of the others, also a nice feature. Very happy with this purchase and expect to buy a second one.

I have many caps and fedora hats. I love this to hang all of them in an organized way. I have had many comments on it as others like it too. There is plenty of room to stack baseball caps if needed. I stack all of my UNC caps together. You can organize them by sports team , color, type of cap, etc. The box did have a chemical smell, but the stand did not. Love this product!
