These duster refills come with an additional short handle should you need it. They remove the dust as you would expect. They are disposable once dirty. Not bad.

I have used Swiffer Dusters for several years now a few times a week. I was excited when I saw these as I thought they may be an economical alternative to the big brand name. At first glance, they look similar to the big name brand but the material is not the same -- there is a hard plastic type surface on the rigid side and the duster side is a feathery type material and when using them the dust gets pushed around and does not cling to the material the way it does with the Swiffer Dusters. After using the Swiffer brand you can see how dirty they are from all the dust that was collected in the material. This material is pretty clean and the dust has not clung to it. I guess for very light jobs they may be okay but I will be going back to the big brand name.
