It’s not super thick but I didn’t have any issues with it. I experienced one tear but I would buy it again for the price and the amount I received.

These bags are thicker than the last brand I purchased. The seam is strong and the bag shows no signs of stress when in use. They are smooth, not textured. These are mid-small size, so you may need to refill them if you are frosting or decorating a large cake. I used it to frost cookies – I used 3 bags, one for each color. It worked out perfectly; I had plenty of each color, and some left over. Since the bags are disposable, I just put them in the fridge with the coupler left in, and will use the leftover frosting sometime in the next few days on something else. I used to dislike disposable piping bags on principle, and also because I’ve had a few that came with holes in them, or leaked at the seams. These are not only economical, but robust. They arrive in a cardboard triangle (the size of the bags) which makes them easy to store and find when you need them. I’m very happy with these bags and would recommend them to my baking friends.

I don’t have to pipe or squeeze frostings out of bags often, but when I do it involves a huge mess and either sandwich bags or the zipper kind. Frustrated and messy is how it all ends. My kitchen is not like a fine bakery or anything but occasionally, like two weeks ago, I need to put a piped glaze on 95 scones. How I wish I would have had these bags. I’m set now, there is 100 bags so if I use three a year I’m good for 25+years! My old tips fit, bonus.*As an Amazon Vine member I select products personally to review. Great value for the price. You get 100 bags for under$10 and the quality is very good. I will use one with a collar and tip and have colored frosting in another bag, that way you can slide new colors in and out of your main piping bag with no need to clean up first. They are thick and don't easily rip even on the edges of the collar. The size is very good for doing flowers and writing. Would definitely purchase again.

I got the large bags because I'm an "always make too much rather than too little!" kind of cook, and I have to say they hold up really well! I tried them using a pretty thick buttercream, and we made 4 dozen cupcakes and decorated them using 1 bag, and it showed no signs of wear when I was done. Because I got the large ones, they were a little more awkward to use than a smaller bag, but I certainly didn't fill it all the way, and once I got a system down it worked really well. Honestly, I could have rinsed this one out and reused it with no worry, they are that thick. To have 100 of this at this price? This box will outlast me!
