  • The original TravelJohn that has provided solutions to our customers for over 25 years! Featuring our patented LIQSORB pouch, unisex design, and leak/puncture proof bag.
  • Each unit contains our LIQSORB pouch, which has a polymer powder that absorbs liquid waste and turns it into an odorless, waste disposal safe gel. Once the LIQSORB pouch makes contact with any liquid it instantly begins gelling and the gel is contained within the pouch. It prevents loose gel from falling out of the bag and causing a mess.
  • All TravelJohn products feature a uni-sex design meant for all genders and ages. Designed to be used standing or sitting the spill guard prevents backflow during use. It also holds up to 28 fluid oz/800ml of liquid and is reusable until it's full.
  • Leak proof & puncture proof! The LIQSORB pouch ensures that even if the bag is compromised there will be no spills or leaks.
  • Ideal for all types of bathroom related emergencies. Such as road trips, hiking, camping, motion/sea sickness, pregnancy, potty training, and much more.

The key ingredient in TravelJohnTM is LIQSORB, a polymer substance that absorbs liquid waste and turns it into odorless, non-toxic waste disposal safe substance. Plus, TravelJohn's unisex adapter makes it easy for anyone to use while sitting or standing, and the spill guard prevents backflow during use. Ideal for motion sickness, potty training, car travel, outdoor activities, and bathroom emergencies of all types.

I can't sing this product's praises enough. Completely transformed my tent camping experience. No more stumbling through the dark in the night. These are very reliable. While I've never had one leak, I use a gallon zip lock bag after use to stow until morning, just in case.

I keep these in the airplane for emergencies. They’re invaluable, and a well made product for a reasonable price.

Like many of us, I have a urinary issue that requires voiding every hour or so. On a trip, I've been using road side rest facilities, hoping that their availability matched my needs Some times they did and sometimes they didn't. No fun. I saw an ad for the Travel/Johns and decided to try it on a 7 1/2 hour trip. Wow! This works great. While my wife drove, I used the Travel/John as needed. It was easy to use and did not require stopping the car. I figured we saved an hour of travel time by not having to stop the car. I no longer had to be concerned about the rest stops being available when I needed to relieve myself. Great product and thanks.

I have bought boxes of these things. perfect for me - copiloting long semi truck trips. Easy to use, no spills, and can use two or three times before it is full. I keep an empty gallon ziplock for the used traveljohns, some cleansing wipes, Kleenex, and hand sanitizer in a zipper bag. Easy peasy - and it is discretely packed away until next use. BTW - have used the travel janes. description said same as the johns. Nope! leaked, didn't hold multi uses. So back to travel johns. Happy travels!

We discovered the Travel John's a few years ago and now we don't ever travel without them! We typically purchase 2 packs of 20, which will get 2 adults and 3 kids from the Midwest to the coast and back. We also make sure to keep at least 3 in both cars for every day use in case of emergencies while doing errands or commutes. It is truly amazing how many opportunities will present themselves when you know you have them in the glove compartment. When driving, bathroom runs are SO MUCH faster when the kiddos don't have to exit the car at the gas station (and walk through all the chip and candy aisles). Just remember to keep some Wet Ones and a roll of tp close by so everything can go in the trash with the Travel John while the gas tank is filling up. The basic mechanics break down to a funnel with a baggie attachment. The funnel fits over the frontal nether region (works for both boys and girls from child to adult). The baggie is filled with that powdery stuff they use in diapers. When you deposit fluids, the powder expands, turning to gel in about half a minute. The baggies can be used 2 or 3 times before it reaches capacity. They are perfect for day trips to the zoo, beach, botanic garden, playground, amusement park, museum--basically anywhere you have to run halfway around the world and back to get to a bathroom just to wait in a painfully long line of ppl who, like your kid, are on the verge of breaching their respective reserves. And if you are as blessed as we are with an especially sensitive kiddo who absolutely hates the surprisingly sonorous whoosh of automatic flushing toilets, then you will appreciate the relief it brings your child to know that thoughts of being spontaneously flushed down the toilet are finally and forever dispelled. I do not exaggerate when I say you need these in your life--it will make trips with the family--dare I say--enjoyable;-P

I have used these for traffic stoppages from accidents on the Interstate and for roadside use at night on back roads when alone. My only issue is that I have to be sure I have my jeans far enough down to have a snug fit, but they work great AND easily when I'm in a dress. It seems busy roads always seem to have a closure for extended periods of time right between exits. This becomes an issue with some medications or pregnancy or just too much coffee and a 2 hour stoppage on the road. I put up the sunshades and make sure I'm not next to a Semi-truck or mud truck (very high with good view into autos). The liquid gels solidly, the upper portion is rolled to remove air and then seal until the next need arises. They do NOT leak to the best of my use and are disposable at the next available trash receptacle. Unlike men, we cannot get out and use a tire......and little girls are very shy about the edge of the door jamb and generally get their feet wet anyway. This eliminates that. Yayyyy!!

When you got to go you got to go. I keep these in the car because I spend a lot of time, on big city freeways. And if you're stuck in traffic and you gottta pee, you can't very well just jump on your car in the middle of freeway and urinate on the side of the road. You cannot get a ticket for peeing in public when you're on the road, if you are using one of these.Once you urinate into these portable urinals, they have gel beads in the bottom that turns into a solid gel, instantly, you can literally pick it up and turn it over upside down and nothing comes out. you can just fold it up, place it in a trash bag, and then throw it into a trash can, when you get where you are going.
