These loops should NOT be used for potholders, they will melt and be damaged by heat. The seller fails to mention that the loops are NOT cotton, yet shows pictures of potholders made with them. Amazon should be insisting that sellers post fiber content on all textile products, it is the right thing to do for customer safety and satisfaction.My advice is to look on Etsy where you'll be able to find cotton loops in a variety of colors, and they'll be labeled for fiber content.
