Decent quality pencil - decent price.Graphite seems to be quite sturdy, resistant to pressure - does not break easily.

I don't know what happened to the quality of these pencils. They used to be the best of the best. Most of the ones in this box broke when I tried to sharpen them. Save your money and buy a box of Amazon Basics

The worst pencils I've every used. I have given out literally thousands of these pencils in the last four years of teaching and probably 3 out of every 4 pencils will not sharpen without breaking the lead. I'll routinely waste half a pencil before it works. I use an X-Acto Teacher Pro electric sharpener, a Staedtler hand-crank sharpener, and a tiny manual sharpener that might come with an art set. Nothing works well, though the little manual sharpener works the least worst. Not sure what's causing this because these used to be really reliable pencils. It can't be a bad batch because we've been ordering continuously for years and from different suppliers. Avoid these until they fix this problem.
