Compaired to the husky brand item from home depot, this has 8 ball berings / Husky has 6, this has s nice strong spring and "snaps" foward / the spring on the husky is spongy, this is made of nice tool steel / husky is made of the same brass that dorknobs are made of. Not a bad material, but this ones better.

This is the female version of the DC7 which I also have purchased from Amazon. The Dixon Valve "Automotive" interchange fittings provides twice the volume as the "Industrial" fittings. These are quality couplers and they do not leak. I matched them with the DCP8 plug for a great home air compressor system.
