It's so cute.I did the 9-piece puzzle first to get the hang of things. Then I did the 20-piece as the actual lamp to use. I'm not sure why I assumed the smaller one would be easier - it was not. It was nice to understand how the thing comes together, but do note that with fewer pieces, each piece has to bend more, and they pop apart easier.The 20 piece came together in literally 30 minutes. It was cool. I love it.The pieces are good quality, they aren't that sharp rippy plastic, and the instructions are good enough.This is not a preassembled swedish lamp shade that comes together with 3 snaps.This is a game that, when finished, you can display with a light. Other reviews seemed to expect this to be an out of the box experience.

It’s a great lamp. Makes the room cosy . But the directions are not clear as to how to assemble . I had to go online and watch a video.

So the people aren't kidding at all when they say this is difficult to put together. Thinking of it as a fun puzzle instead of a pain-in-the-ass lamp helps, lol! I got to around the 20th piece twice and had to break it down and start from scratch. Once i had my numbering done properly, I was able to get it done pretty smoothly on my third try and I feel like it is definitely worth the effort.The video is definitely helpful (although it is in French). The key, I think, is to number the pieces as sometimes a piece will pop out and it is difficult to determine which one and then you are lost. I used post-its the first time for labeling and they kept falling off because there is a lot of bending so make sure you use something that will stay put. I used flags (pictured) the last time and it worked very well, and it was great that they were easy to remove when I was done.The package arrived several days earlier than originally stated, which was cool.The actual ad says this lamp is great for indoor or outdoor use and the packaging states it is for indoor use only. I am using it outdoors so we will see how that goes.I am a little bummed that it actually glows orange as opposed to red because I really wanted the pop of red in our gazebo but it doesn't bother me enough that i would return it.

The assembly instructions were inadequate but a simple YouTube search brought up many “how to” videos. It went together easily after I got the hang of it. It’s very pretty and puts of a lot of light. I got the large one so it can use a 60 watt bulb. The cord is long enough with the on/off switch being clear to the plug end which is nice. Overall a great pretty light for my daughters room. I got the yellow, it’s pretty!

Difficile pour moi de faire le montage, mais j'ai trouvé quelqu'un qui m'a super surprise vu son handicape ! Je suis très fière de lui. L'ex lampe a pris feu, l'ampoule était trop chaude alors avec le temps elle est tombé en lambeau, en espérant que celle=ci fera l'affaire, j'ai mis une ampoule moins forte. Avisez vos acheteur!

Took me a youtube video to assemble. Instruction not very clear. Good quakity and very good lamp once installed. Very happy. Work Good with a wifi led lamp that you can adjust the color.

Okay, so I am giving it 5 stars because when assembled, it does look just like the picture and is the perfect addition to my reading nook. The quality is good and everything came in ship-shape condition. Continue reading....However, if I could give the assembly of it separate stars, I would give it a 2. Everyone in the reviews said how easy it was and the instructions said it would take 15 minutes.....Like ****!!!!!! It took both me and my husband over an HOUR to put this one lamp (all 30 pieces) together. My husband has a degree in physics. We could have done it in far less time, BUT the YouTube video linked on the product description is no longer working - that video was removed, AND the instructions printed in China are about impossible to interpret. The first two or three steps are doable, though it took A LOT of practice before getting the hang of it. Steps 4 and 5? Oh. My. Word. I thought we were going to have to rig that thing. Finally, my husband had his "aha" moment (I had given up long ago) and we finally completed my modern lighted masterpiece. Done. It is now hanging gloriously above my head.

I love the lamp but the instructions are AWFUL. I mean, truly terrible. Three of us each tried, taking about 30 minutes each before giving up. Only after watching a youtube video could we assemble.As a 20 year member of Amazon I rely on independent reviews when shopping and I will always try to be as honest and impartial as I can and will try to provide helpful insight into the product.
