These are good-looking Halloween pencils and were purchased as a treat for the neighborhood kids rather than candy. The designs on the barrel looked good and were varied so the siblings would receive different ones. Whether the pencils are sufficiently sturdy for 2nd-grade serious writing and erasing cannot be stated. This product was fairly priced and arrived quickly, as expected. For attempting to prevent cavities and enjoying Halloween in the neighborhood, these were perfect.
