My DJI Osmo Action 4 spends its time being raced hard on an FPV drone. Having a replacement lens cover is necessary whenever that inevitable day comes. It is better than a lens protector as it doesn't have those distortions and refractions associated with a stick-on lens protector.

I do obstacle course racing and these get scratched up pretty easily. I also put my DJI on a tripod, and it tipped over and hit the ground. The lens cracked and that was that. Since then, I no longer what to use the tripod and have to move slower when racing.
