I was excited about getting this set for my son because I like DKNY boy clothing but this time it was a disappointment. The denim pants have what appears to be a rusty zipper. You can see in my photo that parts of the zipper are rusty in color. The zipper is very difficult to work with. Even I have a trouble with it and my 6 year old can’t even zip it up all the way. Also, the stitching on the pants leaves to be desired. Both back pockets have extra fabric sticking out of them and there are several hanging threads in other parts.The button up shirt has messily sewn buttons and bad finish around the button holes. In the back there was a stain that looked like it was drawn with a pencil. The t-shirt had two light colored stains. One stain was yellowish and the other was grayish. All the stains came off with a fabric stain remover but I find any kind of stains unacceptable for new items. The fit is true to size and the pieces go well together creating a cute casual look but due to the multitude of problems described above I can’t recommend this set.
