I only use DMC threads and I think the threads are worthy of my using them since each item I have spent hours making and spent the cost of framing on. However I didn't catch the cost of shipping add to the cost of the thread, I prefer free shipping and I always compare price with the DMC company before I buy.

I already have several skeins of DMC floss but this pack was so cute I couldn't resist. It has everything to make a perfect start up for cross stitch, embroidery or other crafts. True DMC product, great quality, fantastic set. Very giftable as well. I would order this again. the only addition that might make it 125% perfect would be if it came with floss bobbins or cards to hold the floss skeins on. But I can always buy those separately.A+++

I got these for cross-stitch and maybe some other embroidery in the future. As a kid I used to cross-stitch and decided to try it again. So I got a different, off brand bunch of floss since I didn’t think there would be a big difference from DMC which I’ve always used. But I was wrong. It was cheap - but it tangled and just didn’t cover as well. I now understand that this is one of those things that’s worth paying more for name brand. So, this pack of DMC floss will be replacing the cheap stuff I bought before. I like that it comes with a little scissor, needles, and needle threader which is perfect if you’re new or coming back to embroidery.

DMC is my go-to brand for embroidery floss because it is good quality and easy to find. This is a good set for beginners or anyone looking to replenish their stash. It has a nice assortment of colors, plus black and white. If other stitchers are like me, we can't have too many needles or pairs of scissors because they get spread out with lots of different projects and spaces that we stitch in. I don't use threaders myself, but it's a nice addition and handy to have around. The number of skeins and additional pieces, its a good price and would make a nice gift.

Kit makes quick work of shopping, but compare prices bc it is sometimes better value-wise to select individual items.Thread colors are vibrant and the quality I expect from this brand name. The threader is a nice extra, but not something I typically use. The small scissors are handy and a nice upgrade from the little silver manicure scissors I usually use.

This is a nice embroidery thread set. You get 36 thread bundles in various colors, plus embroidery scissors, needles, and a needle threader. I have several cross-stitch patterns I want to do, and this has a nice selection of colors for them. I also like that it is DMC thread, which, in my opinion, is the best embroidery floss you can get. The colors are vibrant, and the thread is easy to work with.
