Mine was DOA. Screen was black - no signal. Switched it to a different card. Same thing. How do you screw up such a simple part? I chalk it up to poor quality control (no QC?). I just ordered a different brand. Hopefully I have better luck.update. I ordered this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071CQK3K6/). Worked like a champ.

There probably aren't too many computers left that need to use this kind of video card to get dual monitor functionality and monitors that only support VGA. But if that's what you got this will do the job!

Excellent connector that can go directly from the video output of your video board: one output going directly to your monitor; the other, in my application to a computer to TV video converter box.

A truly excellent splitter. The ends fit snugly into the ports of my computer and monitors, respectively. The digital information passed through this splitter streams quickly and without delay.
