Works great! Although I haven’t found anything too valuable, I can still say it works and finds metal quite well so maybe one day. It’s very easy to use and the quality, between the sound quality to the quality of the material used on the product is great!

While the overall functionality works pretty good, I still got a few false positives. The construction is on par for the price range, but the headphones are pretty bad. The tiny shovel actually worked better than I thought it would, especially in sand. I don't really use the carry case as I have it stored in a tough shed with my other outdoor toys. I would have given this a 4 star review if it came with a decent sized USB-C charger instead of old school batteries that cause more e-waste. In today's day and age, this is the new standard.

This is a nifty little device. It was very easy to assemble and comes with clear instructions. There are several modes according to what type of metals are being detected. It covers all of the most common metals around. Each one indicates a different number value. I haven't fully learned all of its capabilities yet, but I'm certainly looking forward to doing so. I've been using the 'PP' mode as a beginner. This simply just tells you if there's any type of metal in the area. It definitely works too and doesn't seem to give a false reading in this mode. It won't sound unless it's truly metal underneath the detector disk. It includes a set of headphones to wear. But if you don't want to use them, you can just disconnect them and still hear an audible alarm. I'm so excited and ready to do some treasure hunting with it. It's just a fun little hobby to do. I'm pleased with it and recommend it if you're interested in locating metal objects around.

I don't know a thing about metal detectors but I've always wanted one so I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to review one! This metal detector is made of hollow metal tubes and plastic. It seems a bit on the cheap side but it's light and that is nice since you'll be holding it a lot. I'm sure it's very entry level but again, I've never owned one before. It comes with a small foldable spade which I found to be completely useless because there is no way to lock the blade in place.It has functions that are very easy to use where you can screen out iron as well as a memory function and a pinpoint function. It's hard for me to say just how well these work because as of yet I haven't dug up anything and it wasn't for a lack of trying but I'm sure that's because I don't know what I'm doing.We took out to the old ghost town of Rhyolite in Nevada and we got plenty of hits but it was always nails and tin cans.I'm not blaming the metal detector just my lack of experience. We're definitely going to keep using it and try to find new locations to explore. If nothing else it's fun!I think if you're curious about the hobby you could do a lot worse than this device!
