It wasn't clear to me that I had to buy additional posts for these to go on. I might have just missed it, but you'd think it would be obvious that an additional purchase is necessary. Without the posts, they're hard plastic donuts that won't bumper anything.

I needed something taller to supplement the dock post fenders that I already had. This fit over the dock post easily on top of existing bumpers, and is keeping my pontoon boat from rubbing

I'll need to build a higher pole for the roller to set on, above the clete already located at the corner of the dock. Its the best price for the 12" ball and I get to build my own support.

Good heavy bumper, only downside is the price, expensive piece of rubber, I use it on my line that ties boat to dock as hole diameter too big for my dock post.
