Advertised as genuine leather but tag says Man Made materials. My husband still likes them and says they are comfortable. Definitely worth the price!

The bad:-It's very bulky, like wearing a "Boat" on your feet-It's heavy-It's too 'plasticky', doesn't feel close to fake leather. And the tip layer of the plastic gets scratched off soon and very easily-It's badly designed: to put your foot in, you have to almost fight it (I don't have wide feet) And then once inside, there's lots of free empty space, too wide, your feet 'dance' in it.-after 6 months of non daily use, the bottom - shoe sole- got detached from the top...The goodAlmost fully water proof. Good for rainy days...Should be a 10$ shoe max

I buy a pair of these shoes once a year. I where them for work probably 3-4 days a week, and I walk alot. They last a long time, easy to clean, look professional, and fell great. I'm a 10 1/2 reg and that size in this shoe fits perfect.

Only wore the shoes once before returning them. I hadn't read the reviews thoroughly enough, and didn't see the main complaint that they were too large. It's difficult enough to find size 15 shoes, so I thought that ordering a 15 would be fine. They were way too big for my foot, however (a rare, but somewhat novel experience to be sure.)I do have to praise the memory foam soul though. My foot bed was incredibly comfy, and felt like I was walking on clouds. The sole is also very grippy, something that I appreciated. I never understood the appeal in having dress shoes that are slick on the bottom. These felt grippy enough to almost be non-slip.Besides the size being too large, my other complaints deal with the weight of the shoe, and possibly another issue related to being too big. The shoe is very heavy, heavier than my mid Air Force 1's. This might be due to the extra sole material needed to allow for the memory foam, but I prefer a lighter shoe, especially as a slip on. Another issue may be related to the sizing being off, but the top of the lounge dug into the joint where my foot connects to my leg, and was very stiff and irritating. Perhaps with a proper fit, this wouldn't have been an issue, but it's something to look out for.I sadly returned these shoes, and when I considered purchasing them again a size down, they were out. I can't comment on how well they are when properly fitted, but I do have some mild praise for them, even despite the sizing issue. Make sure to get at least a size down. Or see if a local shoe store has some in stock that you can try on to find the right fit.

This is my second pair of these shoes and I like them so much I put up with their wonky sizing. First, they run WAY larger than expected. I have worn a size 10 for my entire adult life, but I have recently had to move up a 1/2 size due to a bummer big toe. I bought my first pair of Docker's in a shoe store and they felt OK at the onset, but quickly got bigger and bigger as I worked them in. So this time around, I bought a 9.5 and they seem to fit very well and I'm not swimming in them. Considering I am usually wearing a 10.5 now, I would say a full size smaller is a huge discrepancy. The other thing is that while the quality isn't that bad, they do take awhile to break in. I would say 2 weeks of daily usage before they actually feel like they will for the next few month. During those 2 weeks, the shoe hurts a lot. I think it's due to the price, it's not the highest quality leather I've ever felt. Also, my previous Dockers shoe upper lip would squeak if touched, almost like plastic. However, the ones ordered on Amazon do not have that problem. The memory foam feels nice at first, but then quickly compresses down and you really can't feel it.For the price and the look of the shoe, you really can't go too wrong. For sizing, take whatever you usually wear and go at least 1/2 size down if not even full size.

UPDATE: 04/08/2019 - these are obviously a quality shoe given it is 33 months later and I'm still wearing the pair I bought 33 months ago! The only reason I need another pair is because of a bad ankle that causes uneven heel wear on my left foot. Doesn't take much effort to shine these once a month, take a brush to them to get dirt/mud off weekly, and let air dry from rainy days. Buying 2 pairs this time because this is the longest I've had a pair of shoes last that weren't the really expensive Allen Edmonds or Johnson & Murphy - but getting those resoled is crazy expensive but I've had a pair of each for 20+ years. The value these Dockers deliver cannot be beat.I purchased as a replacement pair to another pair of Dockers casual dress shoes. These are an EXCELLENT value. If you polish, permit to dry, etc - correct shoe care - they'll last for years. I still wear the pair I'm replacing with jeans when out running around as they're still comfortable and have maintained their quality. I'm planning to purchase a second pair of these shoes to give each pair a day on the shoe tree to extend the life of the shoes.
