The one star deduction is because this is lightweight, cheap plastic and I feel it will not hold up well, and it is rather large, so it won’t fit into a pocket, making it more likely to get dropped. That said, it otherwise is great.I used this on my Sheepadoodle who thinks he can just start barking at my wife when he wants her food. I single, quick press from across the room stopped him immediately. A few minutes later he thought to do it again, but when I held it, he stopped, turned away and left. I haven’t had to press it again, yet, but I don’t doubt it will be effective. It is nice to see a dog training product that actually works.

I tried this as I do not like the idea of "shocking" my best friend in order to coerce compliance. I am able to set this to the lowest level (providing me the confidence that I am not harming my dog and instantly get his attention to my command. It has taken me only about a week to control his barking and also a few other unfavorable behaviors.

The design and idea is great, but we have a 7 month old lab puppy that is very tenacious in his barking. At first it confused him, we did mark the quietness, but after that it was like nah....Imma do me. So it could work with a more compliant dog, but if you have a stubborn chocolate tornado like we do, it may not work.

I’ve been dealing with a neighbor’s dog that barks non-stop, and this device has been a lifesaver. I was skeptical at first, but after using this thing, I noticed immediate results. It’s super easy to use—just press the button and the barking stops. I love that it’s safe for dogs and doesn’t cause them any harm, just interrupts their barking behavior. It works well both indoors and outdoors, and the rechargeable feature makes it very convenient. The device has a range of up to 50 feet, which is more than enough for my needs. The flashlight function is also handy for night walks with my dog, and the device is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry. The best part is that it’s effective without being harsh. My dog has become much quieter, and I’m able to enjoy my home without the constant barking noise. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a humane and effective way to train their dog or deal with persistent barking.

My dog barks at two things, people walking in the street and the Amazon truck lol. I had to put a note in my delivery instructions so they would know he's secure. Still, I'm sure they are cautious when a large dog is barking at the door. Enter this device. It's a game changer. We've been working on training for his reactivity and this thing does the trick. I give him a command when using the device so he will relate the two. It's only taken a couple of uses for him to get the point. There's no pain or shock-just an inaudible sound to humans. I'm glad we tried this device

I’ll be honest—I didn’t expect this to work. I assumed it was automatic, using a built-in mic to detect barking and trigger the ultrasonic sound. It’s not. You must manually press the button, which can be inconvenient when you need it in the moment and have to go find it.That said, I was surprised by how effective it actually is. You won’t hear anything when you press the button(s) (there are two with different frequencies so the dog doesn’t get too accustomed to one or the other), but my dog definitely hears it—immediate head tilt and alertness. After a few uses paired with a firm “no,” it started to click for our dog. It’s a subtle, humane way to curb unwanted barking without relying on shock collars or other harsher methods. It’s not perfect, but it’s working—and that’s more than I expected.
