My 33 pound dog loves it. It’s very comfortable! You will have to lift the dog into it since it’s too high to jump, but it sure makes for a very luxurious car ride for the pup. No pacing, no nervousness, ours just curls up and gets comfy. The insert is the thickest I wanted to go. I know many others advertise 7 inches but then I felt how would the dog actually stay safely in the seat? Practically no “borders” left if the cushion reaches almost to the top. This one is at 5 inches and it’s perfect. Plenty of softness and secure in the seat. Overall very happy with this purchase so far!

It’s beautiful, good quality the only thing is that the cushion inside it’s too high my dog is not safe cause of that problem

I have an 18 lb dog and this gives her a lot of room, is larger than it looks. It attaches to the seat back and seat belt but it does not hold the dog securely, is just like a leash. She really likes lying in it though, lets her know this is her seat; although she rides well in our truck as well where she just lies on the bench seat, we do not use the dog seat there because she can lie next to me. I needed in my car b/c it has bucket seats and the dog seat keeps her from trying to sit on my lap.

LOVE this! My 15-yr-old Shiba is safe plus comfortable. I sometimes put the thick cushion on end against the front wall so she’s sitting deeper inside the throne/nest, with pieces of a yoga mat covering the bottom fabric. ❤️

Was perfect for my pup! Some seats might not be big enough to fully support bed bottom. I found if you move the seat up as far as it will go it’s supported by the front seat.
