This is very well made and fitted my dog perfectly. I did have to send it back as my dog did not like it but that is no reflection on the item, just a silly dog. It appeared to work well but she just didnt want to move with it on.

Works well for my Boston in the hot summer weather in Southern California. It is very light weight and stays wet and cool for our mid-morning (second) walk. He is 28lbs and wears a small. It fits very well and is easy to put on. I chill it with ice water for a few minutes before putting it on him.

They are like shool tabrds that are used in teams and sports matches. Do not retain moisture or keep cool very well. Better cooling jackets out there. Look for the ones made of a neoprene material.

Parfait, ce gilet reste humide plus d’une heure sauf s’il le chien reste toujours en plein soleil. Il permet à mes chiennes d’être bien dans la voiture même si il fait chaud et il ne se durcit pas en séchant. Je recommande

This is extremely lightweight with a large head opening and full body adjustment with the velcro straps that wrap from belly over the back. We keep a damp jacket in the fridge stored in a zip loc bag so it's ready at any time. Doesn't take long to cool back down if you needed it soon. Our cattle dog wants to take longer walks when she is wearing the jacket. I had to return a heavier style because the head opening was uncomfortable. But I like this thin material so much better.

I bought two since I have two dogs. Used them at the dog park yesterday. I put them in a zip lock bag with ice water. Runge them out and put them on my dogs. They stayed nice and cool. When they started to get dry I would dunk them back in the water. I was there for an hour and a half. Only had to dunk them once. They are nice and lite. Easy to put on. Large fit great! My dogs are Griffon wirehaired pointers.

I was rather shocked by how thin the fabric is. It just doesn't stay damp for very long as my pet's body heat speeds up the evaporation. This is basically just thin fabric in a single layer with trim sewn around the edges. In order for it to keep your pet cool for any real length of time, you'll need to carry water with you to refresh it. I had a cool coat years ago that was several layers thick and would stay cool for about 30-40 minutes in the heat of summer. This single layer fabric will not last nearly as long. I think I would have done better just securing a wet bath towel around my dog as it would stay wet longer. I did that while driving through Salt Lake City at 105 F in the shade. I will be using this in full sun at the Bark Park this weekend, but I don't have very high hopes that it will stay wet long enough to be of much benefit. As far as the instructions go, it states to "wet thoroughly for a minute to activate" but there is nothing in this fabric that activates!! It gets wet promptly and wrings out pretty quickly too. In order for this to work well, it needs to stay wet for a prolonged period. Had the fabric been much thicker, I would have had more confidence in it. I will use it though for short trips in the heat of summer as it gets around 103 F here during a heat wave. When I need coolness for an extended period, I will need to look for something else.

This to help cool your dog off in the heat. It fits over the head, then Velcros around both sides! You soak it in water for about 5 minutes, wring it out, shake it a few times to activate it.and put on the dog. You can also put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes to make it even colder. I think it works by helping to evaporate the dogs coat. I have a standard poodle with about an inch of hair, and this is a must have for outside. It's been between 100 & 109 degrees last week, and my dog was cool, and not needing to pant. That said, don't leave it on him unsupervised cuz it really it too hot to Leave your dog outside. My dog is a service dog, and he is with me all day. He wears it under his vest when working. He can wear it inside as well as long as I wring it out well. This is the same material used for cooling people by hanging it around your neck. I was using that for my dog, and this is 100 times better because it fits him so well. I got a L for my 50 lb dog. Highly recommend it.

My dog has never been a fan of dog coats but once she realised that this kept her cool during her walk she was far less hesitant in having it put on. This coat works like an evaporative cooler. The trick is to pre-soak it in the sink before putting it on your dog and then, as needed, patting more water on the coat to "top it up" along the way. Dog water fountains are the easy way to do this so you don't need to carry a bottle of water with you.

I love this, I wish we had it 10 yrs ago for car rides and hot summers. Ordering another one so I can wash and/or have one ready in the fridge when really hot! Fast delivery, great instructions. LOVE THIS!

This is super thin and a bit overpriced BUT i tried so many dog vests and this one was the best. It stays on well and has Velcro pieces that go around the dog’s middle.I have a 21 lb Boston terrier and ordered the small. It is slightly loose around his body but the length is perfect. At least 10 min before going outside, wet it and put it in the freezer. For a longer walk, just re-wet it when it dries out.

So far, it appears to be helping some with keeping the dogs cooler when out in the heat. One is a husky/shepherd mix & the other is a longer haired chihuahua. It is very light & easy to put on. Neither dog seems bothered by the putting on process, wearing it or taking off process. All you do is soak it in cold water, ring out the access water & then put it on.Of the ones I researched before settling on purchasing this, I feel this is a good fit for what I was looking for & worth buying if you live in a hot area. Right now where I live, we are in triple digits & have humidity on top of that, so yuck all around. My only con is price. For the amount of material used & simple design, it could definitely be a bit more friendly on the wallet. I would say $15 is reasonable.I would definitely recommend this product.

We bought this for our dog to wear on a recent trip to the beach, but we started using it anytime he was going to be outside in the Summer heat, for potty breaks and walks. It works very well keeping him from getting too hot. It dries out faster than I would have liked which is why on our beach trip I made sure to have a ziplock bag of water to rewet it as needed. I like how easy it is to put on and take off him. It’s thin and lightweight so it doesn’t interfere with how his harness fits.
