Our previous dog food scooper was rubber and we didn't like how the powder would get stuck to the rubber. It felt like it was never clean no matter how many times we washed it.This scooper is plastic, but due to static also attracts food powder. Metal would likely work best, so that will be our next scooper material.This came in 2 parts (handle + scooper) with no instructions. It would have been helpful to know if it had to be attached at a certain orientation. There's also a hidden part in the handle that is likely a food scraper (for wet food). We don't use it, and it occasionally falls out.An amusing characteristic is that it's grammatical incorrect, as it says, "1 cups." The lettering is printed on, so I'm secretly hoping the "s" will get rubbed off. It didn't say if it was dishwasher safe or not, but we've run it through numerous cycles on the top rack and it held it's shape and all the lettering was still there.The plastic cup seems like it can get scratched easiliy, which would lead to bacteria growth. For this reason, metal or even rubber would likely be better. While this isn't what I was hoping for, it may serve its purpose for anyone who doesn't mind the material, typos, or lack of instructions.

This is a handy pet food scoop. I like it because we sometimes have others to feed our pets. I notice others can end up giving them different amounts of food. This scoop is perfect. It has measurements on it so it makes it easy to get the right quantity every time. The handle is designed for a good grip. It is a cute and practical food scoop for your pet. I have no issues with it.

I got this mostly for scooping dry cat food, but I know it would work well for wet food as well. The 1-cup measurement is super clear and great for keeping portions consistent, especially if you have anyone other than you help with feeding your pet(s).The handle is comfy and has a good grip, and it’s lightweight but it doesn’t feel flimsy. Its smart design has a built-in scraper/leveler/scoop inside the handle which you can use to get wet food out of cans or level off the scoop with dry food.Bonus points for the food-grade material and the fact that it’s dishwasher safe (top rack worked great for me). Also, the soft green color is kind of cute! Great little scoop, especially for the price. It's cute and looks nice and is super practical. Definitely recommend.

Excellent scoop for measuring dry dog food. It’s easy to read the measurements and easy to grab, especially since the handle is bright green. It’s been easy to clean and is holding up pretty well.

This is a handy little scoop but it comes disassembled and you snap the handle on yourself after opening. That wouldn’t be a big deal but the handle has snapped off more than once now and one time it resulted in flinging kibble across the kitchen. So much potential but didn’t live up to its true usefulness due to handle not being integrated.
