The paw balm is very hydrating, it has no scent that I can smell. I used my hand to apply it and it has a very smooth and soft texture to it.The balm is high in wax so it holds moisture in exceptionaly well. It's great for dry cracked skin and does not burn. My hand feels very hydrated after applying it to my dogs paws . It has a cooling sensation before I washed it off my hands. Water beads up or reppells moisturizer from the wax. It will lock in moisture all day to your dog's paws .I like that it's organic and has safe ingredients if the dog licks their paws. I think it's priced well and one can will last a month or two of applying it daily.If you walk on concrete, asphalt or gravel I highly recommend buying this balm! Your dog's pads are getting torn up the dry cracking can be very painful.If your dog licks it's paws a lot it's a sign they are in pain and trying to moisten their pads. Help them by getting paw balm they will thank you!

We've only used this for a couple of days now, but his stuff is pretty good so far! I like that it's not thick or heavy feeling - it doesn't leave a greasy residue behind, and it absorbs well so that it doesn't get sticky or tacky at all after application, either. It's unscented and has no color which is also a plus. I know it says that it's "lick safe", but TBH, because the product *isn't* sticky or greasy at all, so far our dog hasn't really tried to lick it off anyway, so that seems like a double-win, if you ask me!The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the fact that it's a pretty solid product and comes in a tin, rather than in a squeezy bottle or something with a pump. I have no idea if/how it would be possible to repackage it while keeping the rest of the properties/features that I like, but especially since it's going onto paws, I have noticed that I have a hard time keeping the rest of the product inside the tin 'clean' after each application. Since I have to keep going back and forth between paws and the tin to get more product for the next paw/toe/etc. (like, yes, I give his paws a quick wash first, so I know that helps, BUT) it seems like there's always going to be some debris (little flecks of dirt, individual hairs, whatever) that ends up transferring back into the tin, so it feels like fighting a losing battle trying to keep that stuff out of the tin, you know?ANYWAY, the packaging (solid product in a tin versus maybe a slightly softer, more malleable product in a tube or bottle with a pump) is the only reason for my four stars instead of five.

This paw cream, actually more of a salve, is simply fantastic! When it arrived I rubbed some onto my pets paws. To my surprise he had an extremely rough pad and it was sensitive when I touched it. I gently rubbed the salve onto the area and could immediately feel the difference. The next day his pad was so much better and no longer sensitive to the touch. Fantastic results!!I like that it comes in a metal tin with a twist cap. Very nice.This is a wonderful product that I won’t worry about using since it’s lick-able and far outperforms what it states.

Bought this for my cats. I am not sure if it is helping those paws but I like that it is smooth and has no smell. It is basically Vaseline for cats and dogs. .

Paw balm has a nice scent. It goes on smoothly and has softened up puppy's paws. It absorbs well and doesn't leave a greasy residue so that she is slipping on tile floors. That was my main concern. No messy paw prints from it.I like the texture and a little goes a long way so it should last for good while. It seems to be a decent price for what the item is.

This paw blam is perfect! I have a golden retriever who will run his paws raw if he gets the chance as he is very active throughout the day. I have really noticed a change since using this balm on his paw pads every few days! They stay hydrated with no irritations.

Maybe a little pricey compared to other paw balms but works great!My dog is a shorkie who has some difficulties during the summer. Hes got bad allergies, like many other dogs, which cause his paws to get painfully irritated. We also live in a city which can be extremely hot in the summer- often over 100 degrees. Although we do our best to take our daily walks in the morning, it still easily gets to be 85+.All these things cause his paws to get dry, cracked and itchy. When that happens, he'll start to chew or lick them, which only makes it worse!I've tried a few different paw balms. Some better than others. Different scents, applicators, and consistencies. Too slimy, too stinky, too stick -y (he hates those stick type applicators!)Instead of goldilocks, just call my dog Mister Scruffilocks...We both like this paw balm a lot!Firstly, the tin container (as opposed to stick or other applicator) is best because you can put their paw straight in, or use your finger to apply as much as you need to get into the little paw crevices. Also, the stick applicators freak out poor Scruffilocks... /:Good ingredients with no icky smells! (there are some seriously stinky balms out there).The formula soaks in fast, unlike almost every other one I've tried that are too thick or too oily. I like to apply before we go walking so now I dont have to wait until it dries or worry about it coming off.It soothes his paws, relieves the redness, and the cracking was gone within a day.His paws continue to be nice and soft even if I skip a morning.It's seriously one of the best paw balms around! Officially Scruffilocks approved!

It is very difficult to get the palm onto my cats paws. I tried using my finger but its so thick i can't get enough on it to cover the pads. I just ended up rubbing the whole paw into the palm and getting on them that way. Other than that it has helped soften there pads up. Going from carpet to laminate floors have dried them right out. I smells good and being made of natural ingredients Im not worried about them licking afterwards.
