Great for my beagle. He loves the window open when not on roads that go fast.SO this is great if he was ever to jump up, he would be safe.

It's a useful item if you plan on traveling with your puppy. The problem for us was that the seat buckle didn't work at all for my car, did not click. It's OK, I used the loop around the headrest in the back. What I learned (this was my first long distance, 8 hours drive with my 80 lbs puppy) was that it's better to connect the dog seat belt to the dog collar than to the dog harness, that way when she turns around she doesn't get the belt wrapped around her body.

The aluminum seat buckle does not work in my Jeep, Mercedes SUV or my son's Subaru. The piece will not lock tight in the seatbelt. The clip for the dog collar/harness is unusual, so far it has worked. I can use the restraint with the headrest but that is not my preferred option

I don't take my Pomeranian on car rides too often. While she loves going for car rides & gets excited about it, once she's in the car and we're moving, she gets anxious and starts to pant hard. Once or twice she did get carsick too.My Pit Bull Bella on the other hand loves car rides and does extremely well whenever we go out.I was working my friends farm while she was on vacation so at night when I would go to the farm to let the dogs out, I would take Bella with me. If I say Bella, want to go to the farm, she jumps up and heads to the front door.My friend lives 15 minutes away from me & to get to her house, we go through very rural area's with a lot of deer. When I have Bella in the car with me, I drive extremely slow just in case. Bella is the love of my life and I don't want anything to happen to her.I knew I wanted a seatbelt for her, I just never ordered one until this one came across my Amazon Vine feed.I don't hook it to her collar while she's in the car nor do I recommend others to do it.If ever you have to stop suddenly or get into an accident, the collar could cause damage to your fur babies neck.Instead, I put a harness on Bella and that's what I hook the seatbelt up to.Easy to use. It clips into the seatbelt buckle in my Volkswagon EOS convertible.Bella's birthday just passed and I wanted to take her for a ride in the convertible with the top down as a treat but I got side tracked with family member health issues. I'll be taking her on a belated birthday journey in a couple weeks. (And I will keep it close to home when the top is down). It also works in my husband's Ford F350 truck although it's a PIA to get Bella in and out of the truck because it's so high off the ground which is why I prefer the convertible.I am very pleased with this seatbelt for dogs. It gives me peace of mind in the event of an emergency.I definitely recommend.Pic of Bella and I for attention. Haven't gotten a pic of her using the seatbelt yet.

Every dog seatbelt I have purchased is WAY too short for our 60 pound Bernedoodle. This one is the PERFECT length. It's not too long to where I'd be nervous of their safety but not so short that they have to basically lay down the whole time to be comfortable. The price is great for how durable the leash itself is. This is a must for every dog owner. Keep your pet safe and for an affordable price!

This is a dual duty dog seatbelt to keep your furry friend from flopping about while you're making sharp turns or sudden stops. (Which don't do when you have a dog in the car!) The seatbelt connector fit securely into my Ford / Mazda car, so it should be fine in most cars, since it's a standard fitting. The length is adjustable to allow your pet to move around but still keep safe. One end is purported to be useful for connecting to a headrest, which I won't test since I don't understand the need for this. This end can also serve as a leash handle so you can walk your dog with the seat belt instead of playing the swap the leash game that your pet finds so much fun.

This dog seatbelt works well! I like that it can be buckled in where you would buckle a human seatbelt or you can attach the loop around the headrest. It works well to keep my pup safe and I would order it again if needed!

I bought this because my dog jumped out of our car while we were at a light. Luckily they didn't get hurt or harmed but after that, we haven't taken them on a car ride until we got this. What I love about this seat belt is this allows them to move around in our backseat, but when it comes to the windows, they are trapped and unable to even come close of jumping out. We always buckle this in the center seat belt lock and no matter how much they tug on this, it does not come loose. The only way it comes unlocked is when I press the button and unlatch it myself. We're able to easily adjust this to however long or short we want the tether to be. It not only works on our 7lb chihuahua mix but even up to our 50lb lab mix too. Even with our lab pulling on it, this seat belt stays locked into place.
