This has three settings. A noise maker which is annoying enough so the dog usually just stops immediately. The second level is a buzzer which is irritating for the dog. And the third level is a shock which goes up to 20 but is bad enough at level eight on me, so there’s no way I would use it on my dog. I’ve used the buzzer part when the dog took off at 100 miles an hour after a bunny intent on ripping his ears off and wouldn’t stop. So I use the buzzer and the dog turned around and came running back to me. I’ve never had to use the shock on my dog. Ever. This is waterproof and works like a dream. It charges and holds charge for a very long time. The dog has tried to eat it, to no avail. I highly recommend.

My puppy has had this on most everyday since Aug 18th and we haven’t charged it yet. She’s a pup so the vibrate and beep are used quite often. We use this when we’re camping as well and worked great! We’ve had zero issues and it’s been a lifesaver with teething to help her learn with vibrate when something is a no no to chew on and beep for come. Shock is there but not used unless it’s pretty extreme.

I recently purchased the Pahog dog training collar with a transmitter and I must say I'm impressed with the design. The string handle is a great addition and makes it easy to carry around. The transmitter is also very easy to use and the functionality is top-notch. All of this at an affordable price makes it an excellent choice for any dog owner.

We ordered and received the collar within 3 days. It was charged so there was no delay in putting it on my little buddy. The design is less bulky and looks more comfortable around his neck. The remote is also sleek and easier to work than our previous one. The only two functions we really use are the audio and the vibration when he is out of control and both work super well. The audio is louder than our last collar and really gets his attention. All in all, I love it. Would recommend to any dog owner who needs help keeping their best friend on track when they get overly excited. Hope this helps.

This collar seems very well made and the controls are simple to operate. I haven't used the shock feature yet, except on myself to adjust the level, but the tone and sound are excellent. The collar is smaller and lighter than the one that it replaces and the remote is slim and narrow and fits in my pocket much better than others I have purchased. I don't know if the range is 1000 feet, but I can say that I tried the vibrate on my dog when he was far enough away from me that my yelling did no good, and it instantly got his attention. So far, I am very pleased with everything about this collar and recommend it.
