I had a bit of trouble with sizing(all my fault), but the large is perfect at the paw, for our guy. The large opening makes them pretty easy to put on and the higher length makes them easier to secure and keep on, without mashing on his dew claws. The only thing I would change(and will modify}, is a wider wrap around Velcro strap. The 2 narrow ones secure ok, but are not easy to make sure they stay completely lined up.

The booties are as expected, great quality. Sadly, for smaller dogs the location of the straps isn't well placed because after a mini marathon with my Peek-a-Pom (16lb Pekingese Pomeranian) in the house to test these; they slipped off.I would most likely have to buy 2 different sizes for my dog since he has large front paws and small back paws. Not only do the straps not sit right but the length of the booties cuff is not long enough.I would recommend for any dog around the 15+ lbs and have equally same size paws (on the larger size). Otherwise, I'd go for the rubber booties called Pawz. This is after buying 6 different type of booties in the span of 3 years.

I have bought dog shoes before and know how they should work. I thought these would be a great set of new ones. They had more insulation and seemed to go up the leg higher covering more. They however are very difficult to put on. They are made premolded to be bent and that is very hard to have your dog arch its foot to put in the right place without hooking the dewclaw. The velcro is very thin and doesn't really latch on very well. When I did get my dogs feet in them, and in the proper depth into the shoe, three or four steps and they slid off her feet and she was walking on the fabric part of the shoe. Almost lost one after a short try in the snow. My dog is a 75 pound lab with ample foot to hold things on to and a skinny ankle so you can actually secure it above the foot and had these problems. Im unsure how people have rated this style this good.

The soles are sturdy but the fabric is a bit thin/cheap. I put them on my dog for size and he got the zoomies, after I checked the shoes and one of them ripped not a big hole, but it doesn't make them waterproof no more. The shoes did stay on so I'll give them that.I like how they have the reflective strap, helps alot at night! The measurements were weird on the chart, I did get them a size too big. I followed the instructions on how to measure and they were way to big, if you're having the same problem as me, maybe size down?? (Its my first time buying shoes for my dog so I didn't know how to measure)Other than that they are okay for the price.
