We really like this sling for our dachshund puppy. He has little legs so sometimes he needs to be carried if we are walking around too much. There’s plenty of room to include his favorite blanket inside to keep him extra cozy and warm. I really like the tether and the netted drawstring to make both of us feel secure while wearing him and know that he’s not going to be able to jump out if we were to see another dog or something. The material of the sling isn’t super soft (almost like a backpack material) but it’s good for the sling because I feel it’s more durable, stain-resistant and weather resistant. Water would repel very well off of this sling if we were to get caught in the rain. I also love the combine toy placed pockets on the sling to hold my phone, water bottle and/or wallet. It’s comfortable to wear and easily adjustable for different heights and sizes. Highly recommend.

I was apprehensive in even buying a sling as so many looked cheap and I wasn't sure they would support my 11 lb Shi-chi. This bag is very sturdy and well made. It is a thick denim material and has pockets on the side and a clip to hang your dog's ID tag. Most importantly, it's comfortable to wear and has a thickly padded shoulder strap which sits evenly on my back and shoulder. I have neck and spine arthritis and I wasn't sure if I could even carry my little girl in a sling without back problems. This is great, and I don't have any neck or back strain at all. And my puppers loves it! She just lays down and relaxes into it as I shop. I haven't had the chance to use it besides the store since we have been shut down in my state, but as I've lost 2 loved ones to the virus this year, being able to have my emotional support dog by my side is so important to me. I bought the bigger sized sling, and for reference I am 5'4 120lbs. There is also an adjustable clip on the bag to allow for it to be put up higher. Great buy, worth what it cost.

This is the second pet sling purse I ordered. The first was half the price, took a week to get, but was very marginal quality, uncomfortable to put on or wear with or without my Little Girl (6 pound Toy Poodle) in it, and I could not convince myself to use or keep it as a backup . I ordered this one from Retro Pug to replace it the very same day I got the first one. RETRO PUG carrier is worth every penny and then some. I received it the next day, and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality, comfortable fit with or without my Little Girl in it, easy to put on and put her in, many useful pockets, good material, safety net, plenty of useable pockets, plus a bonus water bowl. So comfortable I could use it as a carry bag for my things when I have her in her crate for travel. Thanks PUG LIFE!

Great sling for small but chunky little dogs. Others that fit my dog in size are too flimsy and lightweight. This is heavier and stronger. Very well made, used often and my dog loves it!

This carrier has many features that make it a perfect way to carry your fur baby around. The features that are helpful are 1- the extra wide (about 2.5 in ) padded (thick) shoulder strap distributes the weight well so that it doesn't hurt carrying the weight 2- the strap is easily adjustable, even while the pet is in the carrier 3- there are several pockets on the shoulder strap making it convenient to access phones, poop bags, etc. 4-the adjustable safety mesh can be adjusted so that it actually increases the area for the pet and keeps her/him safe too 5- the carrier space is big enough to fit my 15 lb fur baby comfortably, I just place a blanket for her to sit on so she doesn't sink in too much 6-the material is strong but pliable enough to mold to my hip well while I carry her. All of these features make this a smart purchase!

I shopped extensively for a carrier - for my 16 pound dachshund mix. He's 18 years old and still doing well. We took him on a plane trip across country (2000 miles) and I needed something to carry him in and out of the car/airport/plane etc. He is used to being held in our arms - sorta like a baby - but not for extended periods. So I worried about his willingness to stay in a carrier. But this carrier was PERFECT. It supports his butt and back, and makes him feel very cozy and comforted. He actually loves riding in it! Since he's so old, he can't trot through the airport like the younger ones. And he's bit too big to expect him to stand in a carrier. When I saw this mdesign, I knew it was the best way to carry him. So this carrier is awesome for him. (Other dogs could stand or sit in this design, just not my old guy.) The fabric is fantastic! Very sturdy, keeps its shape, but not hard or harsh. Also, the design and padding on the shoulder strap is really comfortable for me. All-in-all, this carrier was a great purchase. If I had to do it over again, I'd choose this one over all the others. Sturdy material and comfortable shoulder strap, but too deep for my 12 lb min pin. He cannot comfortably sit, stand, or lie down in this sling. He sinks to the bottom as though I've put him into a pillow case. I think this sling needs a sturdier base to support the dog's feet, and perhaps a low-cut area where they can lift their head over the edge without straining.It seems like the manufacturer cares about quality and has put a lot of thought onto making this sling secure and tip-prof. I just wish it was more ergonomic for the dog.

Great bag. My pup is maybe just a little bigger than the recommended maximum size but it's still a. Comfortable fit. The inner drawstring layer keeps her very secure. She seems to like it much more than the backpack I got for her previously. She can look up at me which reassures her more in a strange place. It also keeps muddy paws off me!It distributes weight quite well (she's 7.5kg) so it's not too heavy although I definitely need to switch sides (which is easy) every half hour or so if consistently standing. It balances on the hips very well.The extra pocket on the bag is filled when she's in the bag but the one on the shoulder strap works very well. I can also still wear a backpack with it, great for travelling. It folds up to next to nothing to fit in a bag so I can get it out only when she's tired.

High quality product that fits my 16 pound Schnoodle well. He does not mind being in it at all. My one wish is that the strap could be shortened more. I'm 5'4" & with the strap at its shortest length, it is too long and my back starts to hurt. It fits my husband who is 6' very well. The strap is very well cushioned & comfortable. The grey color is attractive.
