Nice little stairs! I have 3 mini Daschunds and it's the perfect size for them. Teaching them to use them and not jump is going to be a learning curve, but for one of them who's older, this is perfect!Theyre sturdy and does have a little weight to it. They have an almost felt like material on the tops that isn't grippy, but works. It's smooth vs the more textured styles. It shows dirt really fast. It is actually wood oposed to pegboard.Price wise, $36 is pretty good. I just wish the material had more if a grip component to prevent sliding if they run up them.

Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi used to have a ramp, until an adult in our house tripped over it and broke it! No names mentioned! So, we were on the hunt for something to replace the ramp. These stairs turned out to be a big disappointment. From the start, assembling these stairs was a pain in the butt. Of course, it comes in a flat box, and you will be putting all the pieces together and using the included hardware to hold it all together. The build quality is poor. The brace visible in the back couldn't even be screwed in on ours, as the pre-drilled holes did not line up properly. What the heck? After we got the stairs assembled, we were skeptical that our corgi would use the stairs. They seemed way too small front to back, and he is very long (he's a corgi!). Well, we were right. He had no interest in trying them, even though he uses stairs in our house all the time. We finally gave up and decided that what we really need is another ramp. These stairs might be OK for a really small breed, but the poor construction that prevented us from properly installing the brace on the backside is a problem.Lastly, the price for what you are getting here is quite steep. Even if we liked the stairs, I don't think they are worth more than about $24.99. They are currently selling at $36.99. I think you can do better.I don't award 1 star very often, but this item has earned the dubious distinction.

My Basenji keeps running into the bed when trying to jump up on it so we got these for her and they work perfect. Be aware needs to be assembled.

It's not a bad little pet stair but some of the screw holes are misaligned (one was so bad that I couldn't but in the screw; see photo). The wood is nicely sanded but it's raw and could stand to be finished (varnish or paint) to keep it from getting stained. It's cute and stable, though.

The piece that holds the two sides together had uneven holes on one side, otherwise the product is fine.
