This is a very well made stuffed animal. It’s overstuffed in the sense it’s extra fluffy. The fabric is completely clean and soft. The size is on the larger side so really ideal for many types of pets in different sizes.To turn the heartbeat on or off you do need to open the pouch. There is no way to reach it from a simple button or spot on the outside.Also there is no sound. It’s a heartbeat pump feel only. I would personally prefer it to have the heartbeat sound as well. Or it would be nice if you could choose to turn that sound on or off.Overall this is a well made heartbeat puppy stuffed animal. I think the placement of the unit is important to know. It is washable and that pod can be easily taken out. I think a way to press it on and off through the fabric would be better. Also having a sound option would be nice.

This would make a wonderful gift for a new puppy owner. I was pleased with both the size and the softness of this stuffed dog. The velcro pouch for the heartbeat unit is hidden but secure and should keep it just fine. The dog itself is really cute and squishy. The heartbeat toys are wonderful for a puppy's first nights at home- if you are my age you might remember the ticking alarm clock wrapped in a towel. This is the modern equivalent and works even better. To be honest I have not tried the calming collar yet.

My puppy enjoyed cuddling with this, but the heart died after the first night, and the heat pack couldn't rant be felt, and is one time use. 3 stars because she did enjoy cuddling it.

It is larger then expected but my little one still can lug it where ever she wants to go. The imitation heartbeat is a nice touch. The warming bag that came with it only a one time use I didn't see that in the description.

this dog toy worked well for me, and even though it was short-lived for my pup, i think the quality is good for what the item is.i recently adopted an 8-week old puppy and i read online that these heartbeat toys can do wonders with a young pup being away from her litter for the first time. the first night i brought her home, i feel like that was 100% true. she cuddled up to the pup and visibly calmed down even more when i turned on the heartbeat feature. after the first night though, she just started treating this like a regular stuffed animal toy :)that said, it has held up decently well as a stuffed animal toy. the only part that has started to come apart is the velcro. i never used the heat pack because it seemed like it was single-use only (which i thought was weird), but it's possible i just didn't know how to use it. other than that, i was surprised that the heartbeat insert hasn't run out of juice yet with the first set of batteries i used. there was a day or two i forgot to turn off the heartbeat and it had run for like 24 hours straight, but even so, it's still kicking just normally.all in all, i think this is a quality product for its product type. it delivered the intended benefits for a short period of time and then continued to deliver more generic benefits afterward. i wouldn't say this is a MUST-HAVE for pup parents, but it could be a nice-to-have and maybe your pup will find comfort in the heartbeat longer than mine did.

It's a cute little stuffed puppy. It could have been a little more floppy, but it is good. My puppy prefers her big lamb chops though.

He’s 4 and this is his baby. I replaced his original before other is totally gonski. he’s a 7 lb chihuahua madly in love with his 2nd security doll. ❤️
