The PATHFINDER TRX provides a fast, industry-leading two-second GPS update rate and powerful zoom capability which provides greater live-action detail and accuracy in the field via the PATHFINDER app. A variety of map options, such as Offline Maps mode, are used to track and train your dog. The Offline Maps mode is completely free to download, has no hidden or extra fees, and can be downloaded via the PATHFINDER app.

The PATHFINDER TRX is built with a GPS e-collar and shows normal, terrain, and satellite view mode for the maps. It also has a range of 9 miles, tracking mode, and a two-second GPS update rate. No Correction
Approved for UKC, AKC, and PKC events, the PATHFINDER TRX GPS-only tracking collar does not come with any stimulation and provides easy location sharing for dogs and dog owners. It’s fully waterproof and the most accurate and responsive way to track your dog without using any stimulation reinforcement training.

This absolutely give my dog his life back. He would constantly run away to the neighbors, or if he would go fishing with me he would run after something, and I would be searching and calling him, worried half the time. Now he listens to every command, does exactly what I tell him to do. For me it was a must have wish I would have purchased this system 5 years ago.

I live on a large property and use the Pathfinder2 as an e-fence for my dog. It was infeasible to fence my whole property, so the Pathfinder2 seemed like the perfect solution. The e-fence feature keeps her on the property and we trained her to return to the house when we used the "Tone" feature on the collar. Unfortunately the collar is made with inferior materials and kept failing.We exchanged the collar 3 different times for different catastrophic failures: unable to connect, unable to charge, unable to turn on. We haven't had a collar make it more than a year without issues.However, the worst problem with this collar is that the actual range is WAY WAY less than the advertised 9 miles. If there were fireworks our dog could sometimes bolt through the e-fence in fear and run for it. As soon as she gets about 1/4 mile from the house it often loses connection. This product would be the absolute best tool if I could use it to find my lost dog. . . yet regularly fails when I needed it most. I've talked with Dogtra about this several times and their response? The advertised range is "UP TO" 9 miles and the functional range may be less.This is an expensive tool, but I'd honestly pay 2x as much for a version of the collar that actually functioned as advertised.-DOGTRA: you had this market to yourself for a while, but other products are entering the space (Garmin Alpha, SportDog TEK, and Tractive). You can't keep producing crap and expecting people to keep buying it. Make a Pathfinder3 that truly has miles of range and build it out of quality parts. I'll be the first to buy it!

Looks like a pretty solid collar, i set it up to my phone and understand the process. I thought finding the set up video on Youtube was easier to follow then the manual that comes with it. Will be using it next week
