Replaced the brittle Camco replacement vent and hood. Note that even though the Camco has 2 sets of positions for screws: one for dometic and one for norcold, the Camco cap will not fit on this dometic vent. Save money and order the complete unit

This is not the same size as what I assume is now an old-style vent base. It doesn't match the holes for my original vent cap, nor does it match the holes for a new vent cap which is being shown as frequently bought with this product. Even the dimensions of this product are wider than the original vent base. So it gets one star because there are no descriptions of the hole measurements or that there are multiple versions. I'm now stuck with a cap and base that don't match, because the return time expired on the cap. Make sure if you plan to match this up with a vent cap that the screw holes for the vent cap to attach to the base are 5 and 3/8. My older version cap AND new vent cap are about 4 and 3/8. Someone mentioned just screwing new holes, but the holes designed for these to marry up are reinforced. Which means you will have to drill into the regular unreinforced thin plastic trim. Unacceptable advertising.
